I was just thinking the same thing! Picking up 2 or 3 Megatrons (with improvements and English speaking voice chip) for the same price as one official is a reality! That's insane!

You could even potentially end up with 2 distinct (animation and toy) paint jobs!  

Well, anyone who bought the Takara release did get that official- cardboard box.  

 

I hope at least one of them will be resized to be 1:1 to a real Walther. That will look fantastic in my collection.

 

Where are folks getting the info that one of the KOs will have Frank Welker sound clips? Based on my understanding, that would NEVER happen. That would give Hasbro's lawyers and FRANK WELKER'S LAWYERS legitimate reason to send cease-and-desist letters. If you thought using a Decepticon logo was bad enough, there are so many MORE legal problems from using copyrighted audio content and profiting from Welker's acting without compensating him.

Better articulation is better.

 

Ratchets are absolutely not better.
Off topic, but good ratchets can give you what? Maybe 6-8 positions between 0 degrees and 90 degrees? And many are not good.
Smooth friction joints can give you infinite positions in the same range.

The problem with smooth friction joints is you have to be good at them for them to work.
Ratchets can hide your lack of production skills.
But your preferences will drive your wants, of course.

Hmmm interesting that this is just a straight up KO. Might buy this to replace some parts on my TT MP-36

I agree. As an example, my official MP-29, though his hips needed tightening occasionally, was much better at posing than my KO MP-29 with the "upgraded" ratcheted hips that force his legs into the ratchet positions...

 

I know, although I don't buy ko it is tempting to. Or call it a ko in its strictest of forms if it comes with an English speaking welker voice. Takara dropped the ball and opened it up for opportunity.

 

 

The Zhongshan will probably be the cheapest and will be for people who like MP boxes.

THF will probably be the best display wise.

BMB will probably be better for fiddling.

Robot Hero's will probably come with extra stuff like a Kreemzeek and Reflector, because they are so behind.

Lots of probably at this stage.

 

Imma use the zhongshan or bmb to paint silver , and thf in gun mode and switch silencers to whichever i paint silver
Imma end up with 3 mp 36 kos

 

One of these will be mine. Have to have one.

I'm still going to beat the almost dead horse for MPP36 to be my main display.

 

Robot heroes should just scrap 1:1 scale and do os.
