I know its based on that. Im just saying that I hope somewhere down the line this get repainted into Car Robots Gigatron.

It's okay I guess. No idea what the size of this will be but I don't think it's up to the same quality or standard as PE Gorrira. It's a pretty easy pass for me based in what we've seen so far. I'll wait to see if Perfect Effect do something.

They are different beasts, Fans Hobby version is more a Classics desing but Perfect Effect is more for a MP shelf.

Plus, this one is a very interesting version, since is base in RID Megatron with TM2 Megatron deco.

So do we know when this is gonna hit online stores, and has it been confirmed that it's an exclusive figure or a general release? I'd actually like this for my updated versions of BW characters  

 

It's the other way around actually; FH is mp scaled and PE is classics scaled. But if you're talking premiumness/quality, then yeah PE's will - most likely - be top-tier mp level whereas this one by FH is looking to be more 'average' (almost a bit plain?).

 

Love that we get two extra faces. Pity we don't get fire effects, but maybe TLK Megaton's will fit? Either way i so want this for my BW Uprising collection.

 

I don't know, this whole thing is not transmetal 2 megatron to me, which is my favorite transmental 2 besides optimal optimus. I just like the original design, or at least I feel it could of been closer to the original design. It's just how I feel about it I guess. If they were going to do this design they should of done it for the RID version of megatron. That would of been perfect.

I'm hoping this will be be available online after the convention. I'm certainly not going to spend the ridiculous amount I spent on FansProject Positum. I'll be waiting to see. No rush. Especially since this more of a nice-to-have kind of figure than a must-have.

 

Actually, not really. Not Optimal Optimus is far away from been Classics, don't expect a different thing for his nemesis.

 

Generally speaking PE does not focus on producing figures in scale with the masterpiece line, whereas Fanshobby specifically does. I don't own, nor have I seen Optimal Optimus in person so perhaps you're right, but that would be a first for PE.

 

Their optimal optimus is one of those rare figures that can really fit in either scale, however considering his appearance is based on artwork from idw the gathering/the ascending his style is more inline with a generations style update

 

Limited to 300 pieces and it's going to be a con exclusive next month .. what a bummer .. if anyone is going to be there when he's on sale and can hook me up with one I would be eternally grateful and of course return the favor when possible
