I'm still confused as to why they chose to make WWII Bumblebee appear as if he transforms into an armoured vehicle even though he transforms into a civilian car.

It's interesting, that he reminds Galvatron and old Megatron in the same time. That's why I was sure we'll see just soulless Galvy in the new body.

Sadly, seeing a few Movie 1 vs Movie 5 pictures lately, they really started moving to the more organic look the last few movies. For some reason I liked them a lot more when they were a bit more clunky.

    I agree.

For me it's more that you knew Optimus Prime et al transformed into vehicles due to vehicle parts on them. Movie 4 & 5 moved with that more organic look but in most cases it also came with a lack of vehicle parts in general.

Agree here, too. Most of the appeal or me of the movies was the more "realistic" take on the TF characters' looks, which I feel 4 and have ventured away from a lot.

What, you didn't like Transformium? Gotta say, aside from Megatron (which I get as some spaceship), movie one (through 3), you could still tell what almost any of the characters were for alt modes. Hell, I don't think things like Shockwave even got alt modes at all. By 4 and 5, they all just looked like the same suit with bits and pieces attached to them and colored differently. I'd have never really realized that the Dread was an old VW from the bot mode.

    Megsy needs a dentist. ASAP.

I still dig this redesign, but it looks an awful lot alike of the Creeper from Jeepers Creepers, after he made sweet sweet love to Ultron while skydiving out of a shot glass...in space.
