I don't think I've asked this but by chance Maz or Sixo, do you guys know if those arm guards can somehow be flipped?

Thanks man! If only you knew how many times things have toppled and the expletives that come out of my mouth, a seamless string of profanity.

I think someone else asked in this thread and it involves some unscrewing or something, certainly it's not something you can do as a matter of simply rotating the arm guard.

    All the best

This thread really is the fandom in a microcosm.

    On the one hand...

... we have two guys with an incredible passion for transforming toys, who despite sitting on a potential goldmine in the form of a top quality cancelled figure, actually try and do their bit to get it in the hands of as many collectors as possible. Because they love it. And want others to have the opportunity to love it too.

    On the other hand...

... tin foil hats, unfounded accusations and mindless nastiness. It's so saddening.

I believe someone said Peaugh wasn't thrilled with the figure but having watched his review he still says it's a good figure.
Hmm; if it's just unscrewing it and popping it back on the right way that's still perfectly fine. That's actually more or less what I was hoping for since it'd also be stable that way. Still thanks for the info
And a thankyou to you as well.

No, I would pin him as more of a Voyager/Ultra class. At the head, he comes up to about Megatron's chest.

While it's not entirely accurate (Starscream in Cybertron only comes up to around Megatron's abs before all his size-changing... magic), I actually like Starscream being closer in stature to Megatron. It makes him a little bit more intimidating. Also, even in this screenshot, it looks like scale was given about as much attention as it ever gets in Transformers. Deluxe class Snarl looks like he'd be taller in robot mode than Voyager class Starscream, and Ultra class Scourge should tower over Leader class Megatron once he's bipedal.

Maybe because they'll do their own scale
If you know what that means :>

Yes, but Cybertron Leader Megatron is very tall by today's Leader standards. Compare Galaxy Meteor to a Titans Return leader.

They have to be unscrewed and two little pegs must be trimmed off for the forearm armor to be inverted.

They were typically toy accurate in scale when it came to alt mode but less accurate when it came to alt mode. There was definitely mass shifting to some extent seeing as the kids could fit inside the minicons. It isn't as drastic as G1 though.
Sizewise I wouldn't mind Megatron closer to Supreme; I feel like it makes sense for him to be big and powerful during Cybertron.

Maybe not very tall but about the same as a movie 1 leader. Animated Megatron is actually kinda short and ROTF Leaders were just the tallest the size class really got.
Interesting; if they're trimmed does that make the arm guards free to rotate or will they still sit stably in place?

My understanding was that they can be turned around and reassembled. The are not able to be spun after they have been screwed back on.

if you dig back before the drama I posted photos of the arm taken apart.

You cant flip it... unless you clip two pegs. if you trim those off you can screw the arms together with them flipped. There is no mechanism and the hole you screw the shield down with holds the arm together so it's more then likely they wont sit perfectly.

I'm not terribly bothered by conspiracy theories regarding a manufacturer, but accusations of being shills against our own Maz and Sixo just go way beyond the pale. :mad

I thought your original photo looked so cool before Maz , and was creative using the Sdcc skateboard ramp and disclose piolots, but it's only when you showed the kitchen photo that I can appreciate how much work went into it. I honestly thought the steam effects had to be photoshopped but you went OLD SKOOL
