Oh, well that's cool - I didn't realize that the bigger figures came with little guys, too. I assume they're the same size as the ones MM has coming out soon.

Yea, they're nice little bonuses. Their Metroplex comes with a little Ultra Magnus which I hope I can acquire in the next few months. The Scorponok comes with his headmaster.

 

Assuming it's a little White Prime Magnus, then I'm all over that. I've kinda decided that I want my desk at work to have a unified theme to it, and SD-style stuff is really popular around here. Gonna have to put some of these on my wish list.

 

It's the blue car carrier design, though I'd love a white version of that little Optimus figure as well.

 

Pretty sure I already posted here asking this, but how is this guy? Tempted to get him to go with my Master Made figures, and saw BBTS has him on sale for $40.

Seems like it's worth it - if it makes you feel better, I'm gonna grab one, too. For that price I'm willing to gamble a little.

 

I'm pretty happy with him and I paid close to full price for mine. Wish they included an optional smaller head though. I think that they would have sold much more of these had they done that.

 

I'm not sure if it's in the instructions, nor if it's been said in the thread yet but I figured out where those four caps go. They go on the treads of both the arms. Make sure you match the type to the correct location. One of each per tread. You can match the shape by looking at the opposite tread.

They are a huge pain in the ass to put in though. And they are notched so they only go in one way.

Id buy a little accessory pack for this guy with a smaller head and a drill hand.

Liking how this looks. Only improvement would be to have the Buildmaster redeco of this guy, as he sports the Devastator colors. Course, the G2 set probably would work with PCC Sledge. He stands rather well with a PCC Heavy Tread that has the Maketoys Mobine set. Same height, both look real bad ass. Need to fix up my old collection room to shoot these guys proper. >_<

 

Wish I had the Takara Buildmaster, because this looks GREAT!

Either that, or that I could have shelled out the coin for the G2 set to use on Sledge. He actually looks pretty darn solid with these limbs.

Really is a shame that Iron Army must not have sold well enough for TFC to not really advertise the PCC ports on this guy, let alone do anything else with them... I mean their Predaking limb bots all sport the ports, but have no good bestial PCC drones to wield.

 

Found a Shapeways drill bit and painted it silver.

 

I am loving this works with PCC. Time to go find me one.

 

The best cores for them would likely be the Takara United EX set Buildmaster:


There's Dozermaster too, but he's colored more like a G2 figure, if anything. Probably PCC Sledge is closer to the G2 yellow on the HerQueles variant. (Not shelling 80$ for that set tho.)

Saw Buildmaster on Ebay for $50 USD, but I don't think I can justify it for a single bot... Also, he kind of looks *good* as is, like, retool the arm drones to look like proper arms, and it'd be solid.

There isn't the off chance someone has the Takara EX Buildmaster, and can pose alongside HerQueles?

 

It looks like I missed the boat on getting the TFC set cheap. I will just have to keep my eyes open. I have quite a few PCC bots, so at this rate, I just want more limb like parts to swap around.
