    Life isn't always fair guys.

Either you were online and got one or two or not. At least they gave everyone a chance to get one online. Yes it sucks that scalpers probably got another 200 or so to sell overpriced but at least a few of the fans only had to pay about $30 a figure. I was lucky and got 2. Just happened to walk out of a meeting and figured I'd check the site before lunch, luckily I did and it only took 5 minutes to get the order placed & confirmed. Got back from lunch and sold out.

That's precisely why I don't really want to bother making the time to try and go next year, or ever. Sounds like a bunch of standing around in lines waiting to maybe get something. Shouldn't be too hard for them to figure out they just need to limit it to 1 per at the con and most people there would be happy instead of letting some people leave with 4 or 8.

So instead of dealing with that mess, I just checked before work the day after. Seemed to me like it'd be a logical time to sell it.

I agree that the entire affair was handled very poorly, at the con AND on HTS.

I could have easily bought one today off HTS, but since I ordered and already received one off ebay it wasn't necessary. I don't regret spending $20 more for four days of peace-of-mind, because until today we didn't know if it was even going to happen.

One of these days HTS will figure out the right way to sell an exclusive.

While I agree with you to the point that the line never should've been outright cancelled in the first place, I really think the fans themselves need to take some of the blame too. For all the crying about what wasn't fair about the situation to start with (especially with regards to the BBTS bashing), an awful lot of you were gleefully ordering two or four or more. That was just a ridiculous display of selfishness and everyone who did so lost the moral high ground (if they ever had it) for all such debates in the future as far as I'm concerned.

Sour grapes? No, I preordered just after Joel put up his listing because I expected a repeat of last year's NP incident. Hopefully he'll be able to make good on this but, if he can't, I'd sooner pay triple for Tomy's version than reward any other "fan" out scalping their spares.

Anybody who went to the con know if they sold out of the batch AT the con? Since they went up on HTS today, it would seem that HTS' inventory and that at SDCC are completely separate numbers. IF there were any left as of Sunday night at SDCC, those would theoretically find their way back to HTS as a second, probably much smaller, batch.

And just for the record, Monday morning has got to be the shittiest time of the week to put something like this up. I'm not just saying that b/c I didn't get any, but fuckin' A man. People got jobs, school, obligations. Whooole lot of people that aren't able to sit around in their underwear and place multiple orders. Parcel them out throughout the day/week so that a wider range of people have a shot.

I got in before it was too late. HTS should have only allowed one per customer if they wanted to make more people happy.

Well I'm sorry some people weren't able to get Rodimus This morning but common sense told me to look this morning, I haven't been lurking at HTS like a hawk but I just figured the convention ended yesterday and I would look this morning and it worked. I ordered one figure and got my confirmation email.

They tried to supply everyone but they can't PROMISE you'll get it, thats what makes it a very wanted EXCLUSIVE, he's not supposed to shelf warm like Skids and be there when you want to pick him up on clearance. If you want him that bad still, go to ebay or start PM'ing your buddies on here. You'll find one.

Luckily I didn't want a Rodimus, and the friend I was planning to pick one up for if I got online on time found someone else to get him one, otherwise we'd both be out of luck.:lol

As it is, all I'm interested in is that She-Hulk, and I just ordered 2 so all is well in the world.:rock

I don't know about the show, since I wasn't there, but I think they handled the online sale of them much better then last year.

    Agreed.

Although we really shouldn't be complaining, we're lucky it was put on HTS for thoes who couldn't attend to get some of the leftovers.

Well, I checked this morning before work and was able to get a couple, along with Menasor and the Obi-Wan/yoda, and the pony for my GF. I really do feel bad about those of you who had to deal with the BS at the convention. For a short while I had considered going, and I am glad I didn't. I will say though that somewhere down the line Hasbro made it clear that they wouldn't sell them at HTS until after the convention, so, it did seem to make sense to check this morning. I think it lasted longer then I expected online, so I really can't complain about the way they handled online.

I was under the impression there was a limit of 2, as HTS has done that before. Was there no limit to how many you could get on a single order at all? 'Cause that'd nudge the bullshit meter a notch or two higher.

There was a limit of six. If you had more than six in your cart, their value would be set to zero.
