Thanks for the kind words, but if you hang on a bit I'll be snapping some alt mode pics later and that may well dull the fires. HUGE trailer, TINY cab...

    'Cos he's a sexy monkey!

The easy choice would be LL Rodders, the colours on him completely blow me away, but it's not him. It's not Thunder Erebus or Galaxy Meteor either, even though they were the two I was most excited to grab pictures of.

I think for me it has to be MP Artfire. I already had Maketoys Grapple and MMC Inferno and I am very happy with those guys to the point that I didn't feel the need to replace them no matter how amazing the transformations on the official versions were, especially with the vast plain detail-less sections with not a sniff of a logo or circuit to break up the bland. Enter Artfire! Same toy, far, far better to look at.

He's an absolute looker, and not only is the transformation genius it was very straight forwards and I didn't even need the instructions. Great toy, brilliant to pose and just looks so amazing! Love him!

Not that the photos were bad (who am I to criticize?) but when you compare them to your recent ones you can clearly see how much you still improve your already high standards Maz (less shadows, more contrast, more colours and so on). :thumb

Even far away a lovely lovely dude has pick up Asterisk Mode Calidus (and some of you signed the box which is glorious). That'll be my high quality haul for 2017 TFN ;)

Cox for the win. Still love Murica V8 though. I'd love to have an old one as a daily. :)

Yup, badges were done by Gav Spence, who also did the Animated comic. There's pics of them all at the back of the fanzine PDF!

Also wanted to tell you I really like your stone studio in your recent pics. :)

I picked up some great toys from TFN, as well as some fantastic artwork :)

My friend Sophie had a great time, and we enjoyed doodling various robots ourselves at the convention. Met some lovely people and most we're quite chatty. One younger girl at the Cosplay show seemed to take a lot of interest in a Ravage I was sketching so I left it for her as we retired for the evening. My fourth TF convention, won't be my last :)

    Haha! :D

Can't believe that Rev Pete (great guy, is he on here?) got a sharpie so i could sign a load of those :lol
Just one of the many many moments i'll never forgot from TFN.

Also Pete, if you're reading this, cheers again for the Mirage! :thumb

Great read! Just the thing to stave off the post TFN-blues for another day

Thought Nick would have picked that frankenstein's monster parts-former he made though. That thing was brilliant :lol

Armada isn't something i'm overly familiar with outside of the Comic but the enthusiasm in the fanzine made it a great read.
Read through it in a half hour of downtime on saturday before the evening festivities kicked off.

Great haul! That Death's Head sketch is stunning.

Well, at least he's not shortpacked as well but they coulda pushed it by one to half the box, eh?

So, unless in case of international political disaster, on-shelf at B&M's by Mid-2018, yeah?

Geoff's a lovely guy and had a great chat with him and Simon on the Sunday afternoon. Last year I spent most of my art money on a Nick Roche cover (Rodimus handing the LL keys to Megatron), Alex Milne MTMTE page and a commission from Kei Zama, but this year I felt more like buying art from the Forge. There are some very talented people in there!

After meeting you at TFN, I can confirm CourgarMan is as handsome and charming in real life as I have always suspected from on here!

We're averaging at least two of those a Year currently......;)

And it's still going to make finding Sluggy singly a real bastard. Im upping my Takara Legends buy to 2. Desperate times etc.

For those of you who wear a suit everyday how the bloody hell do you manage?

I feel stupid, this tie is killing me and I look like a KGB hitman according to the wife.

This is so far removed from my usual work attire it's not even funny....

normally wear 'normal' office wear (open neck shirt), but on the rare times I do need to suit and boot, I've been compared to a bodyguard (guess it 's the broard shoulders?) - how comes you've had to dress up?

oh, and @Rotorstorm, any luck with the CW Trailbreaker?

I was foolish enough to make a passing comment in earshot of the wrong person about a training course that looked vaguely interesting..!!

I was compared to a Mafioso at my brothers wedding.

When money was a bit tight last year I sold my CW Defensor. I've regretted it since & was trawling eBay last night. I found one guy selling it for £120 + postage. Seeing the 'make an offer' tab I sent an offer of £110, which was refused. More out of curiosity I then sent an offer of £115, refused again.

Why do they even bother having the option if they won't take anything less than the listed price?

Condolences. One of the many blessings in my life is that I may never, ever have to wear a tie/garrotte again. Thus sparing the World any more hilarious Kray Twins "associate" impersonations.

Other than Diaclone, Takara Legends and Iron Factory bits I have no Hasbro preorders and only the KFC Stunticon on preorder.

How did it come to this?
