Don't even bother. The denial is too strong among Movie Fans. The belief that there's some secret cut with a flashback of Orion and Megatron that explains everything and fixes all of this movies many, many problems is almost religious at this point.

"Shatters the core myths of the transformers"

So... is this their way of dealing with poor continuity? By making it a selling point?

    Lol

Now here's the thing I agree with you however....

If I were paramount and wanted to continue this franchise without a reboot what would I do? I would release the blu ray theater cut, make money off of all the normtroopers who are gonna buy it. THEN come holiday season realease an "extended cut" and get all the normtroopers out there money again. Then once I had the monies I would use it to justify hiring a great director for the sequel that comes post bumblebee.

    Fun facts:
*this is if I were paramount and they tend to not do what I would do(for better or worse)

    * I do believe there is an extended cut and jablonsky proved that. HOWWWEEVER I think we would be kidding ourselves to think the extended cut would be anything but more human exposition and maybe, maybe a couple of little CGI shots. Translation: no transformers scenes.

Well I guess I have until the end of September to buy a Dolby Vision enabled Bluray player. Regardless of how good or bad the movie it is, I'm sure it'll look marvelous at least.

I am shocked that there is not deleted scenes, just like everybody. My guess is if they were to include deleted scences or an extended cut, Bay would have to be involved. Think Bay is like "screw it.. I'm done" (and humiliated).

Now you can watch this putrid POS from the comfort of your home!!

I hope the Blu Ray sales of this garbage tank. That way Bay, Lorenzo, Marky Mark, the awful actress who played Isabella and the rest of the buffoons involved in this tragedy will finally go away.

The cover art clearly shows how much care and love went into making this tripe. Which is to say very little.

Lol there's no extended cut, sucks for the TF movie fans. I was hoping for an extended cut, but I'm realistic so really I'm not shocked and I won't pay for the blu-ray like I did for the last 4 movies.

Not really a fan of the boxart on this one. Could've been much, much cooler. Give it a knight motif or use one of the poster arts or something.

Or bring back the transforming cases.

And no extended cut is really really fucking lame.

lets keep in mind 1 thing, Paramount, Hasbro, Bay, or the producers NEVER said there would be an extended cut, why would they give us something they never intended to do in the first place?

Just because there were 40 minutes cut out, doesnt mean they will go back and add them to the movie for the home release, every Transformers movie has had deleted scenes, but they never did extended versions for us to see those scenes.

Wow, that is the most dull cover art I\'ve seen in a long time.

Is this movie really that bad?  I couldn\'t bring myself to watch it in theaters, but damn, people are slamming the shit out of it.  Even big fans of the first movie...

See, the thing is guys, there is an extended cut and there are deleted scenes.

But will we actually ever see them?

No, never. They will forever be locked up inside the computers of Michael Bay and the editors and none of us will ever lay eyes on them.

Agreed. Each movie has probably had a lot of deleted scenes. Hell, AOE and TLK had shots in trailers that weren't in the film. The sad thing is that TLK suffered the most from the deleting of scenes, even if they were only human scenes. I think that is why an extended cut is demanded so much, this film could benefit from an extended cut more than the previous ones.

4K, Dolby Vision, and the empty feeling of not owning all the films are the only reasons I'm buying this lol

Actually the saddest thing is that the 40 minutes cut from the film was probably just more of them asking how long it had been since Cade had relations.
