Yeah.. for it's price point, this figure is a home run. Finally that airfoil is a rocket launcher or at at least anything useful/cool. Doors being able to be pinned and moved, and that pin well I might add. Dynamite. Gun transforming for storage. Fits perfect. Awesome. Love the head. Love the strong solid matte like plastic.. Rubber tires that roll well. Check. Weighs about 10lbs.. in an awesome way..
    Check.:)
Exaggerating obviously, but the weight is sooo nice and the truck is balanced nice. Good pose ability.. if I HAD to find a a con.. I could only really mention a little more detail? (but it's a toy so.. I guess it can only get so far without costing a ton to the consumer).
And it comes with fully functional extra Gundam PG style hands with tight joints!

It really is almost perfect when you consider how low the price is. If the price is what I assume at about 80$ USD / 100$ CAD.. ? Don't quote me on that..
It's a huge fig and well worth it imo. As a gague, I like all figs.. big and small, just all about personal pref criteria..

Mine just arrived from Toydojo (best dealer ever).
    What can I say...I'm speechless.
I own every Optimus I know of..
    Mp10 Takara
    Mpp10 Weijiang
    Alpha Pack Spark toys
    Primeorion Toyworld
    G Creation IDW
    Generation Toy IDW
    Striker Manus Maketoys
    Just to name a few.....

This is the best made Optimus I've ever held.
It's almost laughable, taking it out of the box was like holding a brick.
Plastic quality Amazing, paint apps perfect, diecast..loads of it... articulation everywhere...size...massive!!!
    I'm floored.
The head sculpt held me back, but like a previous poster said, it's 100X better in person.I don't know how or why, but it is perfect looking in hand and matches the design Better than the classic version.
The wings look stunning, the blasters are sick and the quality from the rubber tires to the sculpt is perfect.
This could be in Bandai's Chogokin line tomorrow.
I can't say that about almost any other Prime.
The feeling of it in your hand is undescribable....I can't put it down.
    Go buy One...or hell Two.
It's worth more than the asking price...
I'm more impressed and excited about this guy than anything that has arrived this Summer.
That says a lot ... especially since I've had figures arrive that were 5X this price!!!!!
    Wow

    Ebay:
I have this amazing thing and now I want them to do the same with Classics Voyager Megatron. That would look so sick in this size with the added articulation and hands.
I still want a better head though, the faceplate just doesn't do it for me.

Where do you get this thing? & can it be obtained cheaply? & will it still pull the FP G3 trailer?

I bought mine a few months ago on AliExpress for about $80 CAD (it shipped from Hong Kong). Unfortunately, AliExpress seems to have removed nearly all listings for anything third party. Your best bet is buying from a Chinese seller on EBay.

No, the peg/hole alignment got messed up in the upsizing/remolding. It is my one, single nitpick with this guy.

If this had the original headsculpt I would be more tempted to buy it. Classics Prime's head is one of my all time favorite Optimus headsculpts so seeing this strange looking head on the figure is really disappointing

Yeah it's amazing how much better the head looks in person. I love the Classics head but this one just fits the toy so well and looks so perfect that I'm glad they had the inspiration to sculpt it.

Sick, feel like shit, pissed off and gotta work.

To celebrate, here's a badly shot, poorly edited image of an awesome toy.

    PRIME09.51.50.png

The upgrades to the mold are utter class, and naturally this pic shows off almost none of them.

Fully articulated hands or your standard Masterpiece style ones - I need to do a bit of tidying up on the ones I took off the sprue. Double jointed knees. Ankle tilt, front and back foot pivot and rubber soles. Rubber tyres. Ab crunch, diecast thighs, ratchet joints, crazy good headsculpt (getting a real Japanese early 90s vibe), detachable arm panels and the cannon fixes on to the back as you can see.
