I just spoke to a rep from HTS who said that the Star Wars exclusives are postponed until September 1, but the rest will be up today.

 

Excellent. So it IS going up on Force Friday. Glad to have confirmation at least.

 

i know it I'm in CT...sweating in my recently water broke flooded basement with 2 dehumidifiers going... I'm dying lol.... i wish they would haven given you a time jru42287 but i bet even if you asked they would be vague

 

I think the year they ticked people off by making them refresh for 2 weeks because they wouldn't give out the date is the reason they give out the date now.

 

That's not a bad strategy. Separate the Star Wars and Transformers fandoms so the site doesn't slow to a crawl. Though, despite all the negatives about their redesign, I'll say this: HTS has loaded pretty well compared to the past when it was an exercise in frustration getting to the order confirmation page.

 

Well heres hoping for 1 pm to go live.... does anybody remember what time it was last year??? only thing i remember is thinking last year "damn i wish i remember what time it went live last year, ill have to remember today for next year".....and here i sit... with no recollection

 

it wasn't their choice but I have to agree it is a good thing for us! I'll judge the loading of the site once they actually go up though  

 

You're not wrong. However, the fact that on Sep 1st you will not only be trying to pick the exclusives but the new black series wave as well may turn the site into a madhouse.

yeah, that sounds about right, I missed it because I was on site with a client and had to be out earlier than usual

I'd like to imagine them sitting around saying, he, quiet today given the exclusives are released, then jru calls. "er guys? We forgot to put them live!"

 

My order received email for 2016 says it was sent at 12:26pm (eastern time zone).

 

Aw, that sucks. Let's hope it shows up in the next ten minutes when you're not busy!

There are days when I wish Takara-Tomy would just announce their Nucleon Prime repaint so I don't have to sit through this for a somewhat inferior mold with a skateboard I'll never use.

 

No wave 1 black series is always overproduction. Each Walmart will get a pallet. In the early days the site slowed to a crawl, in more recent times they up the server capacity for the day it goes up. I think they only started announcing the day because everyone f5ing hoping the exclusives were going to go up on days they weren't was grinding the site to a halt
