Every female character from the Unicron Trilogy because they were portrayed as mother figures to the male characters despite being the same age. And seriously every female human was portrayed the same way, what teenage girl acts like that?

Miko because her character development just resets in every episode. She was fine in the beginning being the more adventurous kid but after nearly getting everyone killed the first time that should of stopped but it never did.

Sparkplug... what the hell kind of name is that for a human? I like to imagin that his real name is Ron and Sparkplug is just a nickname but how the heck do you get a nick name like that? Spike is kinda odd too but not quite as bad as Sparkplug.

Actually, they live on a small island and it looked as if they were the only rescue team on the island even before the Rescue Bots arrived. Think about it, in that first episode we see chief burns driving an old beat up police car and there's the deputy who we see in a few episodes who didn't loose his job despite the fact they don't seem to actually need him for much of anything and he's TERRIBLE at the job that he barely does.

Plus it's not even the chief's call to employ or fire anyone outside the police department. That would be the Mayor who signs all their pay checks. The chief could fire everyone in the police department if he wanted to but clearly doesn't even though he has good reason to fire that useless deputy but beyond that he has no control over the fire department, construction jobs, or test pilots. Those kids got their jobs on their own. The only way Chief Burns would have any controlled over their jobs is if he were Mayor.

Gonna have to go with Miko. (thug life motherfucker) Oh yeah, plenty of bad humans to go around, but she just annoyed the shit out of me in ways I couldn't just glaze over. Kicker was a terrible character in a terrible show, ditto humans from the movies, but Miko was just insufferable.

The bully kids from Armada were obnoxious and grating, and I don't recall them ever contributing anything to the story.

From what I've seen of Energon, Kicker is an unlikable jerk.

Judy Witwicky lost any likability she might have had from the first movie in Revenge of the Fallen. God, was she annoying.

Leo from Revenge of the Fallen was annoying, whiny, and added nothing.

Shane Boyfriend from Age of Extinction. Cade and Tessa had their negative traits, but there was no redeeming elements to Shane. His absence was one of many things that The Last Knight improved on over Age of Extinction.

Tfwiki claims his real name in some incarnation or other is actually Daniel, where they get that from I have no idea but it's hardly the dumbest thing they've claimed (Magnus Prime's toy being a version of Ultra Magnus instead of Optimus or Ginrai just seems like grade A ******ation for instance)

 

He's a mechanic, mechanics use ratchets, there for his name is Ratchet... no wait that's a different character. Point is just randomly picking some tool mechanics use does not in any way explain how it became his nickname.

I use to know a guy named Phone call. By your logic, people talk on phones, they make phone calls, easy. No explanation needed. But everyone has a phone on them at all times now days so why isn't everyone given the nick name Phone call? Also I don't even remember how he got that name. Asked him once years ago when I first met him, I still don't get it...

As for the whole Daniel thing, it's possible that Spike named his son after his father. We never see Sparkplug in season 3 and he's just assumed to be dead but we're never given any sort of explanation for anything between season 2 and the movie.

Magnus Prime does have half of Ultra Magnus' name. That's more stupidity on Hasbro's part than TFWiki because that's clearly just Power master Optimus Prime.

And considering myself and at least one other person on theses forums that I know of have mentally challenged kids I would thank you not to use that word.

The reason the bots were assigned to them is they were, after all, the Family of Heroes!


... honestly they're big contenders for *best* human characters, of the entire family I like most of the, save for Kade who's supposed to be abrasive. Maybe we should make a thread for that?

 

I dunno. Just my opinion, but Armada and Cybertron did "decent" jobs portraying the female characters. Lori was OK because she was technically the oldest, along with her rivalry with Coby which I Thoroughly enjoyed through the series, and Alexis was fine as she was, despite her ups and downs and the shipping. Energon was garbage, I'll give it that. But hey, opinions man. Mine will be different than yours.

I have no comments on Spark plug because I just don't care enough about G1 humans.

 

IDW Spike. He's a completely unlikeable asshole with no redeeming qualities.

 

Lori wasn't the oldest. She was older than the younger Hansen brother but the same age as the older brother. And I can forgive her acting that way towards the younger brother because she is old enough to be his baby sitter but otherwise she was basically Alexis all over again. They both annoyed the hell out of me.

And yeah I can't even be bothered to remember their names. The boys last name is easy to remember cause I used the same name in my fan fiction. Link in my signature.
