Regarding my faulty MP-10U, I asked the seller if he could replace it but he said he didn't think a replacement would satisfy me and to just enter a dispute w/ Aliexpress. I did, uploaded a video showing all the problems, and they gave me a full refund w/o having to mail it back. Now I'm not sure what I want to do w/ this crappy MP-10U.

If you're willing, it might be possible to put some Future or something in there to create friction on the head so it stays in place. Taking it apart is pretty simpl
e(?) but don't know if there's a suitable joint to add friction to. Hey, it's free so give it a go!

Every time I see the white Magnus robot cab gets paired up with Prime trailer, I just wanted to short circuit myself, lol. I was going to borrow Ironhide line/quote, but don't recall the exact word. Why can't they just do a replica of a non transformable MP22 trailer to go with the white cab, damn it. Yes, I know it's all boil down to green paper....grrr

Hello Marker, the issue you have with the floppy head is common on a large number of those kos, not only the um version.
Unscrew the head from behind and you will see the point where the head articulates with the neck. Put two small (small!) drops of superglue or future on the pegs extruding from the neck and the assemble the head again and screw the screws with a moderate force. Floppy head issue fixed ;-)

 

Do you think a similar trick can be used with KFC Transistor's neck plate?

 

Unfortunately I don't have a KFC Transistor (what a great figure, I would like to have it!) so I cannot say for sure. But if it has a similar neck-head articulation like mp10 then it will work.
All you have to do (if you feel sure about it) is to give it a try.

So they are finally putting the regular MP-10 KO back into production.
I have the very first one, with the gaps on his forearms. Love all the other improvements though.
2nd one had that weird metallic blue.
I am curious what this new production run is like. If anyone gets one please let us know what you think of it.

 

Since I've put off picking up MP-10 for so long already, I may as well wait a little longer for this then.  

 

I'm fine with the white cab on a white Trailer not just because it's a nice contrast to the many all black cabs with black trailers.
but it might go nice with other future colour options as yet unmade.

Not to mention it's also rather similar to Nova Prime and the KO Fansproject City Commander Trailer when set up with the United Ultra Magnus.
It is also like the Music Label Prime and the rather spify all white Optimus Prime G1 KO too.
If you use a red cab with it it would also look like Shattered Glass Motormaster too.

It's one of those things I like for artistic reasons and accuracy and reference is a distant second - it's nice because it looks nice - and as it turned out Takara liked the idea too as they made the 7-11 release which is practically the same toy.

Hello all, I have received my KO MP-10 reissue from ShowZ, the product is....okay I guess, I have the floppy head issue but i'm going to handle it with some nail polish. The plastic quality seems at best average, and I might be wrong but there is not even a bit of die cast, beside the matrix. The red body and and blue legs are unpainted, just colored plastic, and there are also some visible nub marks where the sprue were attached to, but the painted parts are fine.
Another issue i have, in semi cab mode the front "chest" panels don't really tab and tend to open. Also the joints are not the best and the shoulders are horribly squeeky

This is my first normal scale MP-10 and for the price, i was expecting something better. The figure itself is not that bad, but for the price i was hoping something better. Maybe i am spoiled cause the only MP-10 I had was the KBB downscale, and that figure is simply amazing, and super cheap to boot; even the MMP-10 upscale is a huge improvement form what i saw, and still cheaper than this one, but I needed one on normal size to go with the rest of my masterpiece line figure.

 

Anyone wants to part ways with the first issue mp-10 KO? The one with the big gaps in the arms?  

 

I've got an original issue MP-10U Magnus (Mint and fully boxed) which I'm thinking of parting with. What sort of prices does he go for these days?
