I thought Primus might shelf warm at $150, nope 4 sold out of 5 at the ToysRus near me

 

So I'm hearing that there's a quality issue with the dragon heads, like they break upon open from the package.

I hope when I get mine it won't break

So. Let's see where we are with the Autobots Unite figures, shall we?

​

• Flip & Change Bumblebee was first reported having been found at Costco in Taiwan.
• Shortly afterwards, both Bumblebee and Hot Rod were found at US Walmart stores on the same day. (We later had several additional reports of Hot Rod.)
• There's also fully-fledged listing for Hot Rod on the Walmart US website, whereas the listing for Bumblebee is still an incomplete placeholder with no photos under his old code name "Gas Giant".
• In the United Kingdom, the entire "Autobots Unite" subline is exclusive to Asda (a Walmart subsidiary), and both Bumblebee and Hot Rod have been found in stores. Both Bumblebee and Hot Rod are also listed on the Asda website.
• US-based online retailer ToyWiz is also listing Bumblebee and Hot Rod, having obtained its stock from Asia.

• Legion Class Hot Rod was first found at retail in China, followed by sightings in Hong Kong and Taiwan, all of them as non-exclusive general retail releases.
• In the United Kingdom, he was found at Asda stores, but has never been listed on their website.
• He's listed both on the Walmart Canada and Walmart US websites, but has never been found in stores in either country.
• In Finland, the Autobots Unite subline might be exclusive to Prisma stores. Their website has a listing for Legion Hot Rod, but it's a placeholder without any photos.
• Online retailers ToyWiz (United States), Robot Kingdom (Hong Kong), Red Mercury (Japan) and Monster Japan (Japan) are also listing him, all of them having obtained their stock from Asia.

• Deluxe Class Hot Rod was first found at retail in Taiwan, followed by sightings in Singapore and Hong Kong, all of them as non-exclusive general retail releases.
• In the United Kingdom, he was found at Asda stores, and is also listed on their website.
• For the United States, it seemed for a while as if he would never be released, especially after listings for a general retail version of Hot Rod (in "Premier Edition" packaging) were found in Toys"R"Us computers and on Amazon US. Despite that, he's listed on the Walmart US website, and people who ordered him confirmed having received the "Autobots Unite" version, complete with "Walmart exclusive" sticker. Thus far, he hasn't been found in stores.
• For Finland, Prisma's website has a listing for Deluxe Hot Rod, but again it's a placeholder without any photos.
• Online retailers Robot Kingdom (Hong Kong), The Chosen Prime (United States) and Kapow Toys (United Kingdom) are also listing him, all of them having obtained their stock from Asia. An odd case is TFSource, which is identifying him as a "limited edition exclusive" despite the packaging photo depicting the general retail version seen on Amazon.

• The Legion 2-packs were originally found at retail in Hong Kong, where they have supposedly long since disappeared from the shelves.
• In the United Kingdom, they were found at Asda stores, but have never been listed on their website.
• For the Netherlands, they're supposedly a shared exclusive between Bart Smit and Intertoys (which belong to the same parent company), but to my knowledge, there still haven't been any sightings yet. Bizarrely, Bart Smit has listings for Optimus Prime & Ravenspar, Bumblebee & Hot Rod and Megatron & Berserker, whereas Intertoys only has listings for Bumblebee & Hot Rod and Megatron & Berserker, but not for Optimus Prime & Ravenspar.
• For Finland, Prisma's website has a listing for the Legion 2-packs assortment, but again it's a placeholder without any photos.
• Thanks to a combined effort by TFW2005 members griffin-of-oz and TFXProtector, listings for the Legion 2-packs have finally been found at the Walmart US website, and once again, they're only placeholders without any photos: Optimus Prime & Ravenspar, Bumblebee & Hot Rod and Megatron & Berserker.

• Lastly, the 1-Step Turbo Changer 2-pack of Bumblebee and Hot Rod. Thus far, this one has only been found at Asda stores in the United Kingdom, and is also listed on their website.
• For Finland, Prisma's website has a listing for the 2-pack, but once again it's a placeholder without any photos.
• Aside from that, the only other known listings are from Japanese online retailers Red Mercury and Monster Japan. Red Mercury keeps pushing back the release date, so who knows if they're ever going to get this one in stock.
