My Rescue Bots Adventure sounds like something for Netflix. They've been experimenting with that type of interactive storytelling with a couple of their kids shows.

Hmm, it sounds okay, but I just hope it doesn't hurt the viewership instead. I know when I was a kid, if they changed voices in a show or changed the format of a show, it'd really put me off wanting to watch a show. As an adult, I can deal with that easier (though it also helps that we don't have to deal with 4Kids' shit any more), but I'm worried it might be too jarring for little kids.

Hopefully this does well though, because Rescue Bots seemed to be a hit, so I think it's nice that they're continuing it, even if they're changing the format and other things.

I would love it if Hasbro were to bring back old school G1-style packaging for a line.

It looks like Rescue Bots Adventures is there to keep the seat warm until Rescue Bots Academy arrives. Do we know if they had kept the old writing team?

A change of pace and setting may be good for the continuity. I wonder if the show will be set in the future. I have a soft spot for saga storytelling. Plus gramps Burns and adult Frankie may be fun :p

The fact that they had Steve Blum voice Heatwave again gave me some giddiness. I'll be real sad when he's not voicing him anymore.

Too bad they had to ruin one of the all-time best Transformers series out there...my kids and I love watching Rescue Bots together, but by the time the new series comes out they will be beyond the age range, but they have been asking for more episodes of the current series...I guess Hasbro doesn\'t really care about their core audience for the series...or the parents of that core audience that also enjoys the show. :(

I hope the original Bots will still be in this show because it would be really disappointing if they weren\'t and it would\'nt be the same without them.As for the new Bots I\'ll just have to wait and see.

    YouTube (Legacy):
The first "story" of "My Rescue Bots Adventure" is online. It only consists of 10 short clips and two rescue missions (fire and water, both with Heatwave). The story stays pretty much the same no matter what path you take, since different branches link together almost immediately. And the water mission is shorter.

I actually like that the "old" Rescue Bots won't be in Acadamy. Maybe they can "graduate" to Generations figures so the kids who grew up with them can get new updated toys for them.

A neat idea for kids but I feel like it'd work better as an app (i.e. a mobile game) instead of putting it on YouTube.

If they do that for Cyberverse, it'll be the first TF series I keep the boxes.

I had and have no quarrel with RB, it's a damn good show for its intended audience, and the toyline is inoffensive, but I wanted Generations toys for the characters since their release. I weirdly really like the designs, and can only imagine what better engineering could do to Heatwave or Chase.

As far as Re-purposes for Generations figures I used CW Ironhide, Rook, Hound and Alpha Bravo.  Nit exact but pretty good.

Ha! Great timing on this. We (meaning, the kids, my wife, and I) are down to the final two episodes of Rescue Bots on Netflix, so these interactive episodes will hopefully come out on a somewhat regular basis.

As an aside, both my kids and myself would really like to see Generations style figures of the Rescue Bots. So I echo that sentiment.

Hang on, don't these "interactive" YouTube videos only work with PCs? If you use a mobile device, console, smart TV, etc, they don't work, right?

Don't most kids use mobile devices to watch YouTube these days?
