    I don't know why they are so hung up on that King Arthur bit either. Not to mention the actual King Arthur movie that came out his year bombed.

    The King Arthur bit is the cornerstone of the entire film's marketing scheme. Except it isn't so much actually about King Arthur as it is about loosely taking theme elements from the setting and slapping them into the modern day without much rhyme or reason. Specifically the stupid knights theme which would have been better off without some half-hearted attempt to justify it in the context of history and the plot device of the story.

    Goldsman is both incompetent and an asshole. He is the one who wrote those AWFUL Batman Forever and Batman and Robin then recently he has ruined The Dark Tower as well and also contributed to the flop by insulting the fans. Should have never been involved.

    Should have just hired whoever was in charge of the IDW movie comics. Since 2007, they did a perfect job at fix the movies' mess

    thing is you can have as many GREAT writers you want,at the end of it all both bay and lorenzo will still mess with the written scrips,demanding idiotic changes and removing things the moment they see that there is not enough human interaction or jokes for their own laughs.

    the ONLY way we would ever get a GREAT storyline executed in the films is by having great writers but also great director and producer.

    you can not make a good movie if you will always change the script for the worse just because you are a director/producer and feel entitled to so.

    Ultimately producers drive a film. So how does one become a producer? One of the most famous producers in history got his start because he was Barbara Streisand's hair dresser. That's all you need to know what it takes to be a producer.

    The writers room gave this franchise nothing. Plenty of continuity to expand and put in order easily, thought they managed to mess it up even more.

    - but did they, both the editing and directing sucked IMO.
