Depending on how big it is, it could make a dragonstorm type too where it's multiple decepticons that form a big snake. That was one of the issues to the BW and BM ones. They had to do it within basic/scout type size classes of the time.

A larger one, say leader class, could probably do it with several scout figures that combine and fold their limbs into the torso. Which could make for great fodder for Anaconda troops for a new megatron drone army that Quintessa secretly keeps under her own control to combine and use later when megatron would inevitably lose as he's prone to do against Prime. So that way we get a kind of new beast former troop builder. Especially after the knights and their dragon form. It'd seem like something Quintessa would do after some more time on Earth.

For Primal though, I love that idea of Quintessa making a monkey out of Prime, and making herself a new King Kong Nemesis Primal to both mock him and attack him at the same time. So that she creates a new guardian for herself that not only rivals prime, but surpasses him. So that one I'd hope for more towards a Leader class style figure itself too.

Toss a movie-verse Sari in there, and I think we have ourselves a TF6 movie.

I\'m not sure why there\'s flak over the giant robot snake concept despite the fact that it\'s depicting a giant fucking robot snake. Like seriously? It\'s objectively cool. Nope, shut up, it\'s cool. If this thing was in any other movie literally everyone would be like: \"holy fuck, that\'s the coolest thing ever.\" If it appeared in The Force Awakens in place of that one monster tentacle alien, it would have been the highlight of the movie. Do you know why? Because it\'s a giant fucking robot snake. To say it\'s not cool is like saying none of the Predacons, Decepticon Headmasters, Beast Wars Predacons, or any other animal-formers are cool, because they\'re \"just big robot animals\". I\'d even say it\'s cooler than most of those because you\'re comparing it to either low-budget animation models, or some Beast Modes that were just animals (this design still probably isn\'t as cool as BW Megatron\'s TM2 design, among others, but that\'s already almost impossible to beat. Maybe add some turbines or something.) Basically this concept\'s cool, fuck off.

This isn't a "design". It's a snake with metal skin patches. Woo.  

For example, they could have given it a Predator-face with a mouth that opens up in several places! Something.

But this design, I feel, encompasses everything I find wrong with Bay-bots. Lame, realistic EARTH ANIMALS.   Cybertron is Earth, then? The fauna/flora are nearly identical, to the point where a Cybertronian snake looks so much like an Earth snake, we might as well say it was an anaconda infected by the All-Spark? Which, by the way, is an even lamer idea.

I feel like I could flip through ANY MANGA right now and find a better design.

Very cool! There aren't that many characters that turn into a snake so this would've been epic.

 

So basically someone pitched Beast Wars for this movie.

 

I'm honestly not getting the extreme hate towards the snake concept. I mean it may not be flashy but bear in mind this is only concept art as in trying to figure out what a character and/or thing should look like and this snake is an example of trying to make a snake transformer work visually. If they bring it back for TF6 I'm sure they'll make it look more bizarre and alien like. Look at how the concept art for the Dinobots in AOE look more tame and realistic compared to what we ultimately got in the final product.

The other one you're thinking of is Night Viper. Honestly, until I looked them up I was unaware of those two.

Though they'd have to be a bit more creative with a design like this one.
