Since some of you will be switching to CIesium I thought I'd post that I'm Looking for a few Scoria parts again.


Dino head with silver horns(if you put on the toy add on head and aren't using it.)


Visor (any color)


Closed mouth face (any color)

Grimlock feet (reg color)

 

I got the original Scoria previously so would need some advice here.
1. Should i get a FT-04X scoria or the new upcoming cesium?
2. Any reported issues with FT-04X scoria like the issues that plague the original scoria like loose arms and hips?

I got this guy month before last at big bad toystore. I think the only real difference between this one and the new one they're putting out is the dino legs and the mouth transforms as it would in the original cartoon/toy. Do I think it's worth buying another for? Probably not. He's sorta flimsy but he works as a slag. I also had the original G1 toy so it reminds me of that, but I also like the idea of the dinobots being intelligent rather than stupid. So that's the difference to me.

 

Seeing this doesn't make me want any more than my one Scoria X... it does however make me want to play an awesome TF video game with skin options for each character across the various TF universes...

If a regular colored Slags spits fire and has fire animations, a blue ones could spit ice (and have ice effects), green ones acid, etc... yeah I know its a pipe dream to nowhere...

 

Anyone happen to have a FT-04T they want to sell?

 

Decided to finally pick up Scoria X.

Yeah. I was gonna wait for Ceasium X (which I will still get) but who knows how long that'll take. With Grinder X coming in soon Scoria X was the only one my collection was missing.
I also just realized that FT never did an X version of the toon Scoria just the toy Scoria. We really should have 2 X versions of Scoria like we got with Soar. Or can the smoke colored dino head with red horns accessory fix that?

 

Yep, or a separate kit with accessories to switch between toy/toon of X. Cuz I want me some blue visors.

 

Did that black v2 Scoria face come with Grinder or Grinder X?

 

It was one of the faces that came with Grinder X. It was painted red. I soaked in 70% Isopropyl Alcohol for about an hour to strip the paint then repainted with Testors flat black.

 

Was Slag's face black in the original G1 toy or comic?

 

G1 toys face was silver.
