It looks like they gave him an actual hand, gripping the tail like an underhanded gun. Or at least I think that's a hand.

    Pretty, but useless.

    Simply Gorgeous. YESSSSSSS!

I love the fact that he isn't' stylized, just extremely detailed. Realistic, but not stylized.
And yes, that IS a fist holding his tail fin/sword/claw.
Gives me hope that MP Megs is on his way sooner than later.
While I'm sure he'll be less realistic, and more CGI accurate, I hope for the same level of detail.

    Breathtaking.
Can't afford it I'm sure. But I WANT one. Maybe someday.
BTW, I REALLY hope those Rex eyes are LED too. They lit up in the show like beacons.

When I was skimming the front page, for a split second, I thought this was an MP reveal. That split second was the happiest I'd felt in a long time.

I\'ve got Primal and will be getting this. It\'s fantastic.

I have no want or care for MP BW toys but this I can\'t resist.

With their G1 Megatron Statue they originally had the LED for the cannon in red then changed it after requests... maybe they\'ll do the same with this one.

    Man, I need a raise.

This looks great and figures in this style would pretty much be a must have collection but I also couldn't be happier that the Beast Wars MPs look exactly like the 'crummy 90's cgi models.' Having my most beloved characters displayed as if they've flown through a window in transwarp space and arrived in my room has genuinely been a 20 year fantasy for me.
I guess I love the characters purely for what and how they are instead of what their designs were primitively depicting which is obviously complex, advanced robots that can become realistic animals/insects etc.
It's fascinating for me to see these more detailed and realistic interpretations but the emotional response isn't anywhere near as strong as it was when I first saw a certain flat-furred gorilla prototype MP!
The Generations line or 3Ps is probably the best hope for seeing anything close to this style in action figure form so there's still hope for those interested in that sort of thing.

My mind is blown by what these guys create! Too bad I'm not a statue guy- these things are mind blowing! This is as close to G1 as they could sculpt, with all the necessary stylistic updates to create a rendition of Megatron that just knocks me flat. Wow!

Can any statue collectors tell me why they use a magnet system for their heavy pieces instead of a peg system? Is there any benefit?
