That is a hefty price... Sadly, not worth it.

If I could get them for $99 at my local Walmart or wherever, yes. But ouch...

I'm pretty sure these were first shown, by Takara, at the previous Tokyo Toy Show, inside their area, near/next to the God Ginrai and near the Diaclone display.

Also, for your information, Japanese currency, like some other currency in Asia, is uncountable. Thus, it's "Japanese Yen", not " Japanese Yens".

    Hope this helps.

Pioneer's neat and all, but I'd really like some Audio Technicas with TF logos instead... or maybe a plastic accessory thing for mine? They're very nice headphones.

Love them...until I clicked the thread to find out more about their availability and found their price...:cry
But the price is for two sets? the box looks like it has two (1 autobot and 1 decepticon?) ...if you divide the price by half then it is not absolutely terrible...(unless you are forced to buy the two pack..but that would not make sense...one can only belong to one faction! :D  so why would you want the other?)

They're kind of ideal for me but I'd rather have a more DJ friendly model, the frequency response on the base model is tilted toward consumer tastes, not people who need a flat response and detail, I'd pay a bit more than what these cost if that was the case because when I start paying that kind of money I want something that produces better sound.

Somehow I have a very sensitive head and ears....most headphones squeeze my head too hard and after 30 minutes it becomes sheer torture. Then again.... my ears aren't really good with those plugs either, as they fall out easily, so I am stuck with the sports versions which hook around the ears.

So for me to drop that kind of money on TF branded headphones I would need to be 100% sure they don't squeeze.

    *DING* Winnar.

I have a set of headphones I paid $399 for because they are absolutely flat as a pancake in the frequency response. I can use them to mix and the mixes translate better than my good monitors just because I don't run into bass buildup problems.

I'm happy to pay for really good headphones, but they need to be detailed and flat. Not smile-curve consumer friendly. Those types of phones are easy to get for cheap. Flat response costs.

Too bad, I like the concept.

I'm assuming these are wired headphones, which is rubbish for anyone with the latest iPhone... or if you're like me and the 3.5mm jack port on their Samsung phone has packed up. I woulda loved these to have been bluetooth and somehow be able to be shipped to the UK.
