If this Superman: Year One had come from Miller years ago, I would have been interested, but now, not so much.

There are a lot of Superman fans that aren't happy with that character's portrayal in DKR, but I think many of them choose to overlook the fact that DKR is clearly (Miller's) Batman's story, and that makes Superman, and everyone else, a supporting character. Now, Miller working on a story a Superman origin story likely would have been much different. I'm just not that confident that current Miller can really craft the right story for Clark.

Nah, I wouldn't want Frank Miller near any super hero these days. THe man hasn't written anything good in a decade.

Am I the only one that thinks Sinestro or Parallax is corrupting Natu? Because she is becoming more and more unhinged each issue.

I'd rather she just be that she's been corrupted by experience rather than an outside force, although I am sad to see where her character has gone.

But no, please no more Parallax.

I hope so, she used to be one of my favorite GLs.

But it's such an easy out. And not only that, but it's an easy out that's already been taken.

Natu was one of my favorites, too. I mean, basically, she was kind of introduced to be a stand-in for another GL who actually WAS my #1 favorite GL ever: Katma. But I still like Natu now. I still like her now that she's the head of the Sinestro Corps and bitter at Kyle and all the rest. Just because I liked her as she was introduced, that doesn't mean I need or want her to stay static forever. If they're going to have her go through a character-developing journey, and actually let her go through it, I'm fine with that.

If anything, I think I was a little more bugged about Tomar-Tu, even though he's a character I never liked anywhere near as much as Natu.

On a side note, the one recent GL-related thing I really did get pissed about was the death of Isamot (and the lazy homogenization of Thanagarian society) in that absolute horseshit mini series, Death of Hawkman. What tripe. At least Natu's story is ongoing, and the writing is pretty good.

Gimme back Guy Gardner. He had a terrific character arc at the tail end of New52.

I wonder if this is somehow related to the Sinestro FE one-shot, where she and the entire SC dies fighting a bunch of extremist superheroes.

    Also, Isamoth was killed, when??

He was casually killed off in issue #4 or 5 of the 6-issue 'Death of Hawkman' mini-series, which was one of the absolute laziest-written, unimaginatively-drawn and all-around most boring thing I've read in a long time.

I'm up-to-date on the titles in my pull list, and I have to admit, I'm kinda surprised there hasn't been more of a reaction to Superman #27. It was a good read imo, but even I think they could have been more... subtle with the subject matter.

War of Jokes and Riddles has been pretty good so-far. Though it's been a bit of a slow build so-far. That said, I'm loving the art for it. Especially the design for Joker. Really kinda hoping Mattel makes a new figure based on this story's artwork.

Nightwing has still been good, but I wish they weren't destroying Dick's relationship with Shawn. I get that no relationship in comics can truly last, but I was kinda hoping this one would last at least a year before they got rid of it.

They are probably planning to hook him up with Barbra or Kory again.

I'm hoping it's her being relatively new to controlling Fear that is getting the better of her, since we've seen the rings power can affect the wearer as well.

There's a solicit for an upcoming issue of Batgirl that suggests them possibly getting back together. They've made for a good couple in the past, but I'm kinda hoping the solicit was missleading.
Possibly, but with this coming from an issue of Suicide Squad... I'm inclined to not believe it.

Making Batman a Metahuman would go against the point of his character of that he's actually a normal guy who's made himself into an amazing detective by pushing himself through training of all forms and sizes.

What worries me is that "going against the point of the character" is a pretty popular modern trend at both big publishers.

Nope. One of the actual Batman writers is refuting this idea:
