The Wei Jiang OS MPP-10 have addition tabs at the top of the chest to help with the alignment and prevent that chest gap, fortunately.

I have four MP10 KOs and the MP10U is by far and way the most solid, bar some scratching on the chest paint. My Red Bape KO, by comparison, is pretty wonky. The other two (Eva and Green Bape) are OK, but none of them are a patch on any of my official MP10s and are certainly leagues behind some other KOs I've handled. I have a the grey Bape KO on the way from TF-Direct so we'll see how it goes.

 

What do you consider expensive? $135 shipped isn't too bad for an MP-10U with Trailer. At one time Just the bot was $110-$125.

Got mine through enp27 here on TFW (he's also on Facebook). Unsure if he has a current bst thread or if he has any left though. I pre-ordered though so price may be $140 or $150 now if he still has some.

 

Is there a comparison list anywhere giving the differences Takara and KO MP-10R RED CAMO BAPE Convoy? Are the boxes identical?

If you want to check out my rubadubspawn deals, I was able to find a supplier willing to offer the MP10U Ultra Magnus a-la-cart - i.e. Cab only or Trailer only or Combo so members could pick up just what they want. Price is considerably less than what you're finding and includes free worldwide shipping.

Also have the new MP-10 KO Optimus Prime in original G1 Takara colors. Dark blue & dead eyes. Comes in a plain brown box and is in stock now.

The KO of the MP-10K Black Bape Optimus Prime is also expected to arrive in August.

Not sure if my shelf is going to be big enough for all these crazy repaints, but I'm already committed (plus have a bunch of the MPP10 repaints), so kinda all in on these....

For those that are new to the MP-10 KO's, here's a quick rundown on what I'd rate the QC of the various releases. Keep in mind, this is just my opinion and is based solely on the copies I have in my own collection. I'm not commenting on the awesomeness of the deco - just what I found QC wise based on my personal copies and the feedback I received from others who purchased thru me.

Takara MP-10 YOTH - 10/10 QC wise
Takara MP-10 - 10/10 QC wise
Hasbro MP-10 - 9/10 QC wise - some joints floppy/loose
KO MP-10 Shattered Glass v1 (Darker Purple) - 6.5/10 QC wise - some screws overtightened leading to posts being broken, stress marks, very squeaky joints
KO MP-10 Shattered Glass v2 (Hasbro KO w Trailer) - 10/10 QC wise
KO MP-10 Red Bape - 8/10 - pretty good overall, some flop in arms but good and tight overall
KO MP-10 Green Bape - 7/10 - OK but much more flop in knees and elbows
KO MP-10 C (Clear MP10 w Trailer) - 9/10 - good QC overall - docked a point as mine came with a missing pin, but my supplier got me a replacement so all good
KO MP-10 Eva - 8/10 - pretty good overall, some flop in arms but good and tight overall - some blurry paint for the neon green paint

KO MP-10U - ? TBD
KO MP-10K Black Bape - ? TBD
