Hey this is actually good. It makes me think of the original Primal while having new elements with it. I love it. Bit too big mind you but still amazing.
Is there any chance a Bayverse Optimus Primal would not use poo-throwing as an attack at some point???
Dragon, what you said is a bit of a contradiction. If the fans designed the movie it wouldn\'t have to be 100% like the source material, just a lot more accurate. And, in the last two movies, the robots are far from realistic with all their curves and human faces it\'s actually the very reason most of the toys look terrible because the cgi models are hard to re create in a transformable figure.
I think we can all agree we don't care to see this creative team's take on Beast Wars, because the universe they've built sucks and their design philosophy has no TransFormers style. Next.
Does it mean something when a primary TLK artist hasn't bothered seeing the movie yet? Yes. It means he has better things to do!
this is so sick. as far as his size, i guess he would be more like king kong than a normal gorilla, as realized here
Man, that looks beautiful. Would like to see him have some fur and be smaller but he still looks great. Really hope a different creative team gives us a Beast Wars movie someday.
Damn that's awesome. Stuff like this is why I miss the movie sublines where we got cool, crazy movieverse designs as toys.
For Beast Wars, it was also protection from the environment. The organic shielding protected them from the raw energon that shorted out their circuits after long durations. From there, the forms evolved based on the story. As for your rhino comparison, actually a rhino would be the smarter choice. A mechanical battering ram is limited, whereas a Rhino could pick up speed and go through more walls and impale adversaries on the way. There's a reason nature had them evolve as they did, they have a form to function that many mechanical devices don't. Mechanical devices are created to serve one need, an animal on the other hand is adaptive. In this instance though, there are mechanical things that would correlate, like Bonecrushers car arm. Or a tank, but a tank would be slower than a running mechanical Rhino with a big ass cannon on its back. Keep in mind as we saw with TLK, a transformers alt mode is limited by its earthly confines. Hot Rod showed us this when he needded to switch forms to a faster car. So a wooden wheel would serve to hide, but it'd have no self-autonomy to the alt mode. (Unless you've seen the movie Rubber. But even that was limited in the main star's movements to what a tire could do. Mostly.) While hiding is a need, there are instances where having an animal based third form could come in handy for ferocity. I can accept the dragon form in TLK, because it made sense as a battle alt form that was carried over into human mythology as part of their basis. Optimus himself going king kong swinging around the cybertron cords is a little bit of an absurd idea. But Quintessa being spiteful and having crafted a secondary nemesis Prime as her protector because she wanted to make a monkey out of prime and his legacy for defying her, and her knowing he would eventually, does make sense to a degree. Nor would she care about hiding the alt-form. To her that'd be a form of revenge and pettiness that'd make sense. To mock prime and the earth he holds so dear that he turned on her and his planet for.
You're right.................. but, damn, does this look cool - and I'm a "truck not monkey" person too.
