    *Cough* Bruticus *cough*:

Nailed on Superion will be the same height as these guys. Constructor has one of the vehicles flat, Bruticus and Superion have their significantly larger leader/torso bot upright.

Oh wow didn't know they had released images of Bruticus already. That is... large! Hmmm now I'm wondering if there is such a thing as TOO big. I'm kind of surprised they are making them larger than their own Constructor. Shouldn't Devastator be the biggest combiner (at least SC combiner)? Seems they aren't even following their own scale.

They are the same height, Constructor just has a wider A stance making him appear shorter, when stood the same they should be near identical to the head. Just look at the distance between the knees.

Is that canon (or as canon as you can be considering the variance in G1 episode to episode or even scene to scene). I have to admit I'm more into the toys than the cartoon and haven't really sat down and watched them in decades probably. Is Devastator the same size as the other combiners? I always thought he was supposed to be a bit bigger? Maybe just bulkier?

I think it varies per individual. Some think they should all be equal height, others believe some are smaller/bigger than others because of alt mode sizes, others believe Devastator should be biggest because he consists of 6 parts whilst others argue Predaking should be biggest because he's the most ferocious (or something).

I think ppl should just roll with what they prefer.

Good point and I agree! At least with Superion it might make sense anyway as a combiner made up of airplanes should probably be larger than one made up of cars/vehicles. :)

According to TFsource, the combined mode is called SkyTerror. What a terrible name for a heroic Autobot combiner.

For me I can only handle two combiners at a time. My plan is to pick two teams once more than half of the teams revealed, commit to it if strongly interested, and don't look back. For me I'm going for either DX9 meansor plus this combiner or DX9 plus the tfc abominus.

I have a feeling DX9 combiner will be sure winner based on the aesthetics thus far and their track record, as well as their sister company's experience in combiner figure in the past. DX9 feels like a must have for me at this point.

I like tfc qualities as of late and their approach towards the beastformers minus just a few minor gripes with their continuing flaws such as lack of premium paint, articulated hands, overuse of translucent plastics and weird choices for feet designs. Also, I am concerned about TFC abominus leader bot being too skinny. On the other hand, these zetatoy aerielbots are just hard to pass up for the price and the decent look so far. To reiterate what most have said already, once the leader bot of the team is revealed, the choice should become clearer.

More like Sky Guardian is what they should go for. Must be something lost in translation...

Not really bothered by the name. They can call it tweety bird for all I cared, as long as the overall package delivers like Constructor. Hoping this is more Constructor than Armeggedon.

Not unprecedented. "Slag" is analogous to "shit" in Cybertronian and means "ho" in UK slang.
Then there's poor Micromaster Discharge and Erector and Beast Wars Powerhug, Stampy, Drill Nuts and Gas Skunk.

If a giant robot is named SkyTerror, we should count our blessings regardless of faction, as we were probably one vote away from having his name be 'Planeosaurus Rex'.

I have a feeling that the other two limb bots would look nice as they just need to copy and paste and change a few details

The big variable for me is if Silverbolt is done properly.

I like that they're going with MP Seeker scale and the price is definitely attractive. I need to see how the combined mode is going to look before I commit. I wasn't interested in Constructor or ZT Bruticus, so I'm not invested in that scale. But I don't need my combiners to all be the same height. Besides, looking at the arm mode comparison, I'm not sure how he can be as tall as Constructor with some serious T-Rex arm syndrome. Although, Constructor was pretty gorilla-armed and Popeye-proportioned, so perhaps it will look just fine.

I mentioned this before - why ask for preorders without revealing the main feature of these bots?

More importantly, we have no idea whether this will sell well enough to enable a second run. ToyWorld had the MP Combiner market locked up and there really were no viable alternatives to their offering. Zeta, as well as being a brand new company with no history of good or bad QC to judge them on, is also only one of six companies doing MP scale combiners now (XTB, DX9, UT, FT, Zeta & possibly ToyWorld) They're the first to announce Superion but it's a safe bet there will be other options available, and probably not that far away. Zeta may not even sell out their V1, in which case no V2. But with that, there's absolutely no reason to jump in on an early Pre-order for this stuff. Just wait and see.
