Had to pick him up from the post office, but I finally have my copy. It came with both the bonus sword and the chrome shield. Since I already have the chrome Temenos Sword, I just have to wait for the exclusive axe.

And the weapons can technically fit in Jetwing Prime's hands, albeit a tight fit. Really wish Takara would release the MB-11 hands in sets that match the earlier releases.

You know, given the Evasion Mode was Prime's only new Voyager for AOE, I wonder if the new TLK Voyager is just a left over design that only now saw production.

That's been my thought. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's a nice TLK figure, but it seems like something they held back.

Especially with the forearms that still don't match his end-of-AoE look.

Just made my order last night....

$65.02 total after I used the Yen option (with my credit card) instead of going with the Amazon currency conversion tool, which would've cost $67.75. This beats all those $100 figures ($90 plus shipping) offers....

My only hiccup was trying to make it work altogether....i kept getting a "cannot send to address" error....dunno why? In the end, it worked as it kept changing who I was trying to buy from.

I found one for that price with free shipping, but when I added it to my cart it said they couldn't ship it to my address. Anything that would ship to the US was much more expensive.

So after playing around a bit, I found that the shield on the Voyager Prime can plug into the 5mm hole on the bonus sword, and the sword's peg can in turn plug into the Voyager's trailer hitch.

Thanks for the Amazon tips everyone! Scored this figure for a price that was much better than if I were to order it from a shop here, making me confident to get it. Fingers crossed customs won't intercept and add a hefty import duty. :lol

For anyone curious, he's been popping up on Mandarake unopened for 5000 yen lately.

Got mine in the mail today.

Apart from the pain in the ass that involves trying to tab everything together in vehicle mode, this is the definite official version of this character to date. The fact that the rear wheels can detach and form a shield is a very welcome addition.

If we're getting a TF6 in the future, I'll be surprised if they can improve this figure any further if they won't produce an entirely new figure all together. I could maybe see them try and integrate the cab kibble more flush into the legs and maybe somehow find a way to have the shoulder armour collapse to better represent the CGI model but apart from that, this is about as good as it's gonna get.

All in all, highly recommend to anyone on the fence, both for AOE leader owners and people like me who have never owned a version of this mould before.

The Platinum trailer is perfect for this.
