That looks good.

 

I don't see anything wrong with the default storage, plus it seems like you can see a lot more of the sword from the front that way.

 

That's the point I wanted to look more like a sheath like Voyager Optimus

 

I think this is a nice alternative to sheath his weapon!

 

This toy is sturdy in a way that we haven't seen in a good long time. I'm VERY impressed with this figure. I love the intuitive transformation, and how the toy doesn't have a lot of kibble.

 

Solid effort Hasbro.

I think the best feature of this voyager Megatron's bot mode is how much better (than Optimus) his legs are regarding articulation. The ankle tilts and the transformation joint inside each shin give him the advantage.



Optimus loses on two points for his legs: hindered knee articulation and no ankle articulation at all! Requires heavy modding to get halfway decent legs poses compared to Megatron's legs. To Prime's benefit, he has a waist swivel.

 

That would explain why WeiJiang's started out clear red.

OMG your Prime looks better and better every time you show it off! How did you get the feet to articulate? Is it something someone with only basic tools could accomplish?

 

I got mine today, and while owning the Wei Jiang one made it so I knew what to expect, I still love him. He will definitely be my movie Megatron representative on the Megatron shelf!

I'm having quite some fun with this figure, he seems to stack quite well with my Evasion Mode Optimus Prime pretty well and is a stable enough figure to play around with.  

 

Finally got him and he lives up to the hype. Fun transformation, great in both modes, almost no kibble in bot mode.

I was fully prepared to go nuts with a silver paint pen on him, but now I'm reconsidering. This guy has a LOT of really subtle paint detail on him that doesn't really show in photos. It really makes him pop in person.

 

Just got TLK Megatron in the mail today and he does not disappoint.  









I really wish they could've included a wrist swivel and made the cockpit in that clear red plastic instead of that weird yellow/gold plastic, but other than that, this guy is the best thing EVAR!  

 

Those are two reasons to spend the $5 extra for Wei Jiang's version.  

 

I was thinking pretty hard on whether or not I wanted to get Wei Jiang's one, but the only reason why I went with Hasbro's is because of the size. Wie Jiang's is just a little too big for my liking, but with Hasbro's it's just the right size.
