I really like designs, very classics like but better. I would love full figures and a cartoon like this

This might be just the way to get my seven year old into Transformers.

I wouldn't mind at all if these were the designs for a new show. They have that modernized classic look to them.
And Soundwave's a truck. I like my Soundwaves as boxy, land-based vehicles.

Wow, this is such a cool idea! 12 toys to a single book, though?! Not sure they thought that one through...

-- that Soundwave design is SLAMMIN\', though! Look at all us big kids, like \"We know it\'s for babies, but those NEW DESIGNS, THO...!\"

So... these do not seem to transform? That\'s kind of a weird choice for a book introducing kids to TFs.
Seems to have most of the big name G1 players, that\'s nice. Alt modes are good too.Soundwave\'s is from the new IDW no?

i like how optimus is labeled as a 'semitruck' instead of 'semi truck,' like his alt mode is only partially a truck lol

If these are indicative of a new direction then I'm pretty keen on seeing more.

I often see these type of books w/toys in Marshalls for Thomas and Friends, Ninja Turtles, and Marvel/DC. The toys usually do not end up looking all that good (and half of the time someone has stolen them)...but I\'d probably be a sucker for this set if I saw it.

My kids have gotten a couple from those kinds of stores. DC, paw patrol and Disney Princesses I think. The figurines are ok, decent amount of paint. The mats are just glossy heavier paper.

I\'m surprised that they didn\'t use the Rescue Bots for this?  Surely they are a more apt line to use for such a young audience?

The colours and the style of drawing reminds me of Rescue Bots.

Those models look cool. Kind of reminds me of those diecast models and Hot Wheels sized cars that were announced. Did those ever come out anywhere?
