I've been thinking about a movie recently, but for the life of me can't remember the name. Maybe you all could help me? I saw this movie two or three times in 2008, back when the kung fu channel existed. It was a foreign martial arts film, but it wasn't Asian. I think it was Swedish, but Im not entirely sure, the movie was subtitled. I remember the movie took place in a post apocalyptic era. The main character stumbled upon a town and halfway through the movie, he trained everybody in the town how to use Martial Arts to take down the villian, although I don't remember what the villian's motives were. The movie looks like it got released sometime in the early 2000s. Well, this is all I could remember. Anybody know which movie I'm talking about?
Hmmmmmm, I think I know what you are talking about, but I can not remember the name of the damn thing. As soon as I do, I will let you know. Just to check, was the main character a man or woman? Was it with zombies or just gangs? And just to also double double check, it wasn't Daywatch/Nightwatch, was it?
The main character was a man and it definitely didn't have zombies in it. And after looking over the synopsis, it wasn't Daywatch/Nightwatch.
That is what I kind of figured. I just can't for the life of me figure out the name of it. The main character, he had a beard and was blonde-ish, right? At first I was thinking The Road, but that isn't a foreign movie nor do I believe they use martial arts. The Returner is a Japanese movie, so it isn't that one.
