My whole comment is that there could have been a million things done with this film, but it's apparent that the marketing campaign was more important that what could be some kickass moments. The budget for filming TF5 was smaller than the others and it shows.

    Boring how, exactly?

That still doesn't make any sense. You act like marketting and actual film production are done by the same exact people. Cybertron still appeared in the movie, it was just a different visualization that undoubtably cost more than a static Cybertron model would have.

If budget were a factor, they would've gone with the far simpler Cybertron in the concept art. And marketting wouldn't have affected that. You're trying to connect to things that are totally unrelated, then randomly bring in the budget. Is it budget or marketting? And why would either effect how Cybertron looks?

Love the early concept of Quintessa where she almost looks like a centaur... with tentacles for legs. Really neat.

Cause everything they show doesn t matter. There are so many landscapes but they deosn t interact with anyone or anything. Beside the Pyramides and Moonship scene. This thing was just instead of a blue sky there were these Cybertron straps in the backround. It would have been so easy and much more interesting if this Strap like Cybertron would have been Unicron who attacks earth for energy and not this earth is Unicron sh**.

So this means we'll never get a fully transformed Unicron because of this mess of storyline thanks to the inferior writers room lead by Akiba Goldsman

I've noticed something, I think the lower half of bulldogs chest uses a upside down version of bumblebee's waist.

I really enjoy seeing the concepts and what did and didn't make it into the film.

Bulldog is the Planters peanut guy and Quintessa is what you could do with the tinfoil that ding-dongs use to come in(comparatively tasted better too than the inferior plastic wrapped ones) when you crinkled it.

Sad because you really didn't get a good look at Bulldog's face because of the frantic editing.

Bulldog is such a ridiculous albeit interesting design. It's a shame that Beserker gets three toys and arguably more relevant characters such as Bulldog, Onslaught,Mohawk, and Dreadbot tdidn't get toys in the TF5 line. HftD was a godsend for the movie lines, cranking out some of the best figures that the series have ever seen for pre-existing characters (Voyager Prime, BB Bee, Leader Starscream, perhaps Deluxe Ironhide), and picked up after RotF where non-featured characters got toys (Hailstorm from the second movie game, dudes like Highbrow and almost all of the scouts who were creative and generally good). If post-TF5 Hasbro got something like that running, even with the smaller budget, we could have many movie figures of characters who deserved them (TF5 guys, other Dreads) and maybe a few updates (better Voyager Sentinel Prime, better deluxe Ratchet, Leader Blackout/Grindor, Voyager Brawl). I'll keep hoping.

only thing I see when looking at Quintessa is the White Queen from the Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe.

I also have a feeling that filmmakers wanted to continue the AOE story, but Hasbro claimed something more easier, fantasy-themed, oriented for younger audience. I am outraged that they forgot about continuity! I remember how I was excited in the beginning of the Movie to see Autobots, Lennox, Isabela (although I felt something strange because of bad dialogs and Canopy scene), but at the moment, when I've seen Quintessa, I understood that it's not the Movie I expected. It's interesting that ILM even doesn't say the name of an artist who created her concept. I have a feeling that they drastically reduced Cybertron scenes in the last moment and added her instead of AOE Creators for some reason.

Quintessa looks like that Plant-o-bot (Queen?)  from Beast Machines.

Not unless Unicron possesses Cybertron (which is what I think Quintessa really wants).

These movies forgot that it was the Allspark that created life, this isn't new.
