Ended up pre-ordering Fangor from BBTS. Didn't feel like doing the Collector's Choice and paying for figures I don't want. Did that for the last DR set, and still sitting on figures :/

EDIT - Finally got my Horde Troopers! Those heads from General Sunder finally have torsos!

Looks like Hallmark's Keepsake Ornament He-Man did well because Hallmark is going to release Skeletor for 2017. These things look much better in person. The He-Man ornament I have looks many times better than any of the pics released. At least to me. YMMV. Also, Hallmark will be releasing G1 Transformers Soundwave ornament for 2017. Here's the link:

As many here may already know, when MattyCollector first released the Horde Trooper 2-Pack, they were severely under-produced and sold out in seconds. And that was, what, 2 or more years ago? Today I FINALLY got in the mail a Horde Trooper single carded figure! I've been wanting a Horde Trooper since forever practically! And I am so happy to finally have one in-hand. I love it. I still am not crazy with the chevron "V" yellow eye-thing on his helmet, but I'm cool with it. I have to give Mattel credit for standing by their word in releasing this again in single-carded format. It is kind of funny to still see the MattyCollector logo on the back. Now there's a website I will never miss having around. But at least I got my grail. One of them anyway. Not a super-expensive grail, but a good one. This made my day. Sportimus is a happy boy. :thumb   :)

Super 7 should have received their shipment at the end of June and IIRC will send them out to retailers (i.e. BBTS) and individuals by late or end of July. All I found on their YouTube channel was this, which is that they'll be at SDCC this year:

I cancelled my pre orders for the Ultimate figures from BBTS. I might be out. I'll be watching closely to see if Super 7 can deliver what they promised. I was looking forward to the resealable packaging.

I cancelled half of my Filmation preorder and am very close to cancelling the other half too. It's just absurd to pay them a $15 markup on toys that'll sell for $10 below retail at the shows I'll be going to for the next 16 months.

I am not that upset at Super 7 for the delay because it is essentially Mattel's fault. Someone damaged, lost, or destroyed key parts of the different molds used to create the weapons or parts of the characters. That wasn't the fault of Super 7. To fix this, parts had to be carefully re-created to match the originals, and this takes time. So what was supposed to be a simple reissue with bonus accessories turned into re-creating Skeletor's Havoc Staff, Rem Man's shoulders, and various other parts for the other figures. This is kind of a large undertaking for a company as mall as Super 7 compared to what Mattel could have done. And I'm sure there was a lot of back and forth between Super 7 and Mattel regarding these issues. Not to mention Mattel and especially ToyGuru being a total a$$**** with the way both dropped the brand (Scott by just jumping ship, and Mattel for just dropping the line later).

I agree with you. Except on Scott, I am not a fan, but Mattel was blowing up at that time, they lost the Disney license, it's more Brian Stockton and Christopher Sinclair running the company into the ground. There is no award for going down with the ship especially when you aren't the captain.

Yeah, you're right. Most of which, if not all, is Mattel's fault. Their Disney line was junk, and Disney had enough. But Scott was by no means innocent either. He ran DCUC and after getting the characters HE wanted, he bailed out. And he did the same for MOTUC. His "map" in releasing figures in a certain character order was really a mess, and many did not like his 'SUBSCRIBE, OR ELSE!!!" marketing approach was ridiculous. Mattel is essentially run by morons and jerks. The only saving grace with Scott was that he did have a passion for MOTU. We did get the Mighty Spector after all. ;)

    Edit: I did find this:

Does He-Man finally have the legless ankles??? Poor quality video, but apparently somebody has these in hand somehow.

Looks like around end of July or early August depending on logistics for MOTUC Ultimates:

Is the snake armor on this new ultimate Teela, more red? I can't tell by this video?

    The original was more brownish?

I can't tell either. It might be just the lighting or video quality, but it can also be more red than the MOTUC release. Either way, I'm happy with the results. Skeleton's blue skin looks a bit brighter compared to the original and later runs in the Matty MOTUC releases. They also changed his forearms to the more "beast" arms. I don't mind this either since this is more of a hybrid Skeletor where you can also make him into a makeshift Keldor. What doesn't work so well are the clawed feet. Dun! Dun! Dun! Doesn't bother me either as I'd prefer to keep him as Skeletor with the Alcala head. Faker is perfection. He-Man is still very much like MOTUC He-Man minus the pink-eyes. That alone is an improvement. Hopefully they've fixed the weak ankle syndrome on him and Skelly.

Looks like we may see some new MOTUC figures revealed at SDCC from SUPER 7! Their "Collector's Line" is what they'll be focusing on, in addition to Filmation 3.0.

Cool, they probably did change the color, that Faker has a brighter orange than previous.

If Teela's armor is more brighter red I'll need to throw money down for this, even though I own the original.

I think all the edits to Skeltor was to make it more like the original toy, where the original classics toy had a bit more mini comic influence. I would love to get it, but I do t know if it is something I need.
