I love Overlord, just wish he had a bigger gun...and wish his head was more IDW-ish but I get that that wasn't what they were going for. The arms on mine were somewhat loose but a quick tightening of the screws fixed that for the most part. But yeah bigger gun is necessary for me.
Just got Overlord, he is pretty damn amazing, I just wish his gut guns popped like the original did, maybe TT will fix that but other wise I can't really fault this one.
Apologies if it's already been asked, but does anyone know if it's possible to modify the waist connection to accommodate some sort of swivel?
Not easily. You'd need to saw off the prong that goes into the upper body to lock both halves together, then re-attach it so it turns round. Even after that panels on his back would get in the way.
Sad I'll never find OVerlord here in Phoenix AZ. he's totally scalper fodder just like Sixshot. (still never found sixshot yet)
Yeah this probably have to be an online buy for me as well. They just don't or can keep stock of any leader toys around here. I don't know if it's scalping or just stores not purchasing more than a case or two because previous lines leaders shelfwarmed so much.
I didn't think I would find this guy when I did. With him and Sixshot in my collection, I feel like there's an obligation to get Sky Shadow now.
He looks good, but after getting Carnifex he looks soo underwhelming. Good news is that it looks like Titans Return is getting leaps forward in accuracy and quality.
I bet someone could make a barrel extension for Overlord by using Shapeways to give Overlord a bigger gun.
True if I had a chance to get a Carnifex for a not "oh fuck off!" price I would, but it's nice that there's version's of the character for all budgets.
Check TRU. I've been spotting Sixshot there lately. Good luck. Scalpers suck. I got the figure. I was initially hesitant to get the figure as I thought Skyshadow looked better from the pictures. Having them both in hand, I now think the opposite is true. Overlord looks damn amazing in person. He is a perfect update to the original figure. I am going to have comparison pictures between my original Overlord and this one this weekend.
