You know Lindsey Ellis' film analysis review of the Transformers movies? This is not that, this is her and her friend/fellow reviewer Andre just talking about the film and laughing half the time. Lindsey keeps digressing about how much better TF rime is, and mentions wanting to see 'Suicide Squad with Decepticons,' which I agree sounds awesome. All-in-all she rated it as the second-least-bad of the films. And is a big fan of the comics! Anyway, it's a fun review (well, if you don't mind them dragging it) that I can't find anyone else posting it, so yea, enjoy!
I love this girl and her reviews. Spot on. All in all their point was right. Whatever reboot might be planned ahead, they just need to get a director and producer who care. Maybe a studio who can do the same as well.
And to be honest, I really don't think I could sit through any of Bay's Transformers movies anymore. I don't mean that to offend. But seriously his Transformers movies after the first movie averaged about 2 and a half hours. And when you watch it you feel like you've already seen it before. At least that's how I started feeling after Dark of the Moon.
It was nice that Lindsay is versed in the lore like IDW and Prime, it's always nice to hear a review outside of TFW that knows the lore. Yeah they pretty much hit it on the head, though it seems this was made before news came in that China was dumping it too.
Okay, I watched the whole thing. The review was comedy gold and so far the only thing that has made me tempted to watch The Last Knight, just so I can laugh along with them.
Same here. This & Angry Joe's review had me laughing along with them. I kinda feel like the reviews are more entertaining than the movie itself, but having not seen TLK yet, I can't say with any confidence.
That's the one! Yeah, between Angry Joe, Other Joe, Lindsay & Andre, those 2 reviews are a pretty good representation of what casual audiences & long time fans thought of the movie. I should've made popcorn to go with their reviews.
Watching this is like therapy. Their humor really makes TLK seem like a Tommy Wiseau//The Room type movie.
She's nice. She's one of us! Her Marky Mark is spot on too! Yeah I could watch these two do reviews regularly, they should do a podcast or something!
Btw, why she rated DotM lower- Lindsey didn't think it was as aggressively bad as some of the other, but it was longer and didn't have as much stuff to have fun laughing at. Which is one fun way of looking at it!
