That's more or less the response I got, though not word for word. Rain was mentioned. Unsure if they're trying to say they have to reorder everything and then reship, or if they mean they have replacements ready to go.

Either way, I'm very circumspect about whether I will ever see my item, or the tracking will ever become active. As stated previously, giving it 5 - 7 days, then calling PP.

In an effort to find a silver lining at least (overriding my internal desire to sink into a slight depression and frustration over the double whammy of being potentially taken, and told by my peers I "should have known better" in what, while I'm certain is not intentional, always feels like schadenfreude and rubs salt in the wound lmao...) I'll say:

Thank goodness for PayPal. There was a time when that protection wasn't an industry standard. We're fortunate and privileged to have access to such a service. One of the ways the internet has actually improved things in life substantially, I'd say. (I'm old so I reflect on how technology has changed the world a lot more than we often stop and consider lol.)

Gotta focus on the positive right?

Has anyone had experience with bestgift_china?

He has TW Spaceracer at a great price right now. He was down to like 2 or 3 left earlier today and then miraculously just this evening his available stock jumped to over 30......

    My "Spidey Senses" are tingling....
I feel a bad experience from a bad seller is right around the corner.

I know he's already been labeled a scammer, but this is the tracking info I have on a package I ordered from xinzhong.zhiyouni. Can anybody explain why the package would be stuck in Chicago for 20 days? Even though I'm positive it's not the item I ordered, I'm still curious about this.

For what it's worth, my tracking number from longkfei88_90 updated just now to say it was accepted in Tangshan.

So, I'm still going to be a bit on pins and needles until/unless it gets here, and it's still odd to me that a package ordered by someone else on June 26, and mine ordered on July 2nd, both have the delay explanation of "rain eroding the warehouse," and then the morning after I inquire about it the tracking suddenly updates...

... but I'll hold off a bit now to allow for the benefit of the doubt. Anyone else ordering from them, let me know if you get yours too. I don't want to rush to a condemnation consensus if it turns out we all get our items...

@ ChromeMagnus, place wzwu66886 in the bad list. He started receiving the negatives today. 2 more, one for a sunsurge and one for an mpp10. I assume the fact that the tracking number is up means he put a one dollar chain in my box as well.

And to add to that, here is the response I got when I inquired about Sunsurge:

    Hi buyer,

wzwu66886 is out of the office until 07/17/2017 and may not be able to respond to your message.

    Message from wzwu66886:
Excuse me, please wait a moment. I am investigating the matter. Thanks for your understandingļ¼

This does not look good, I'm calling PayPal now to get the ball rolling on this seller gone rouge. Im no longer waiting.

I'm on the phone with them now, I just tell them that these sellers have gone bad and to check their feedback once the negatives start rolling in. I let the know what the seller is doing and that he has done the same thing to members on our boards...usually around day 7, I get my money back! The more people who put in a claim on the same seller the more it makes it easier to get your money back. I hate thieves! I wouldn't wait, tell them start investigating and they will, it's their job.

Well, I just got off the phone with PayPal and a case has been opened against wzwu66886!

I informed them that I was no longer interested in waiting for the package and that the seller has become fraudulent. I also told them that he is sending out necklaces rather than Transformers to disguise his transactions and I asked them to place his account on alert because he's getting ready to run! And that is also evident given the fact that he has begun to receive negative feedbacks on eBay. So if you've done business with this their, call PayPal now and let them know!

He was added to the bad list a couple weeks ago but thanks.

Glad to see you'll get your money back.
You can still get Sunsurge MISB from reliable sellers on Ebay for $85-$90 shipped. I think one of them is in the USA. Just make sure you don't buy from longkfei88_90

Well here is great news in record breaking time! wzwu66886 refunded me back my money as soon as I opened the case, I know this sounds wrong but I am going to give him a negative feedback on his account due to the fact the he sent me a necklace and the fact that he gave me back money so fast proves it. Here are some snippets from my PayPal:

    Hello buyer,

Your seller has issued a refund of $56.99 USD and this case has been closed.

You can view the status of this refund at any time. Here's how:

    Transaction Details

    • Case number: PP***********

    • Seller's name: LI ZHI JIE

    • Transaction amount: $56.99 USD

    Sincerely,

    PayPal

So call in now guys and don't waste time.

Question: Is it really time to declare longkfei88_90 rogue? I only ask because it seems like only two people saying they didn't receive their items, and then two more (myself and another recent user) reporting a delay in tracking becoming active, and a somewhat dubious (but by no means guaranteed to be duplicitous) excuse for said delay, followed by said tracking then starting to work. (Unless they're fake of course, as one negative feedback entry now on ebay says theirs was... but I think it's possible to assume that without it actually being the case too.)

I'm asking this for two reasons.

    1) If it's a truly reasonable, non-hasty assumption to make that he's gone rogue, I want to go ahead and file a claim.
And 2) If it's not, and a week from now myself and the other user here both get our items, and then all we have is those two negative feedbacks on ebay vs many more positive... is is really fair to rush to judgment?

Or is it just being assumed he's rogue out of an abundance of caution and previous patterns with others? Basically I just want to know what the chances are of getting my item and if I should go ahead and file a claim. I don't like falsely accusing people without proof, but... and group consensus based on only two data points isn't enough to sway me entirely... >_< So I'm torn.

It's the same pattern time and time again. Low prices, bogus excuses for delayed shipping, bad tracking numbers, etc. If it looks like a duck... you know the rest. Better to shut them down as soon as they start than keep giving them the benefit of the doubt so they can keep taking advantage of people.

Yes but if you dont have the package on hand, will they act or dismiss the case, after all you dont have anything.

    Ebay:
You can start the process before you have anything in hand. In some cases, buyers (like myself) don't receive anything and thus can only claim the purchased item never arrived. The way I see it, start the report as soon as you suspect anything. Then, either escalate it to a full claim as things become more doubtful or cancel it if you happen to receive your item. The sooner you act the sooner you are likely to be protected.

I should also add that eBay and PayPal give the seller plenty of time to defend themselves. If they remain silent, it screams guilt.
