Where's the best place to pick these guys up?

I'm interested in getting Shinebug, but would totally pick them all up if Shiney is a good figure.

Sirtoys above has always been fast and reliable! I've also bought a couple of these guys from this ebay seller:
    WJ OVERSIZE ROLLBAR / SEARCHLIGHT / CHASE / GOLDBUG / Freeway [choose] + 1 decal | eBay

Yeah, I'd say Shinebug is probably the best figure of the set in terms of engineering and design. It almost seemed to me that the designer ( for ToyWorld) spent some time designing him and then was told to design the rest of the throttlebots on the fly, and make them combiners while he/she was at it, so Shinebug ends up as a backpack, hehe.

OS Shinebug is amazing. Scales w MP carbots. Tight joints. Nice paint. No metal...

Hey Paul @SirToys ... any chance of the yellow Chase still cropping up? It's the only variant I'm missing.

What the hell, here's his robot mode as well. Bit gutted he doesn't have his yellow face, though I'm sure even a rank amateur like me can sort that. He is definitely missing colour breakup, the original used some well placed red to help the thing pop, but like the rest he's a generally well made, good quality piece and looks like a right cocky bastard.

Having some issue with getting the back all tabbed and flush but it seems to hold fine.

Man, I'd love having a Freeway in a nice dark red, but I get the feeling Wei Jiang is probably more interested in other things now than releasing recolors of their last three throttlebots.

Shinebug was the last one designed IIRC. You can definitely see an increasing sophistication in design and complexity as the series went on.

Shinebug arrived today, and other than the fact that his colors are duller than the original's, he's a great looking figure!

I may hafta slowly pick up the others now.

Me too. Freeway just falls off unless I tilt the shoulder up. Otherwise this thing is awesome.

    Three things.

    First: Throttlebots!!! Er.. COMBINE?!

    20170718_165847.png

Second: Woah! Fucking woah. (Obvious 'Where's Dirge' moment is obvious. Didn't have time before work to transform Goldbug)

    PicsArt_07-18-08.20.11.png

Third: Every review of Toyworld's set bemoans a lack of thigh swivel, but as you can see above, the legs rotate above the knee.

So I guess this Wei Jiang effort offers something new or everyone's been doing it wrong for ever? The female connection point attached to Wideload's foot rotates..

It actually rotates on the original as well, don't think I noticed that before

I've got Freeway and the combiner bits on the way, can't wait to get them all assembled. Are the variant Chase versions better QC than the original? My red version is a pretty floppy mess and feels noticeably cheaper than the rest.

Awesome looking team. Just waiting on Ben from ToyBento for my Freeway. Does the combiner work well with Shinebug attached in the front? All the other pictures with him in the back appear to make the combiner back heavy.

Dunno yet, not attached him and have 9 hours of hell before I can. I'd guess he'll be fine either way, joints seem tough enough.

Just use clear paint or nail polish to the pegs required & you are good to go IF Shinebug falls off too often
