The TRU exclusive toys prices are steep. Deluxe for $49.90 and Cybertron for $399! ?!?!? Almost the price of PS4! WTF...

Metro has 20% off from 6-9 July, but I guess TLK not included since it is white label.

 

This is probably a little late, but TF blue tag stuff is on 20%+10% off for metro and uob members, and they have TR Wave 5 dlx too.

I'll be visiting in a couple weeks & have a list of transformers to buy, at the top of the list is the 'chaos on velocitron' set, well 6 of them as a few friends are them as well.

I know it's available on the toys r us website, but has it been found in stores?

If it has been found in stores, which would be the best one to visit?

i believe all TRU stores have it, but it is much higher than USD $100 retail price, S$200 to be exact

 

I know, the price is a killer, but I'm not sure if I want to run the risk of not being able to get them.

If I knew anyone in LA, I'd get them to put 6 of them on lay away for me, I'm heading off over there after I visit Singapore.

 

Same thing at Centrepoint, I didn't know there was 20+10% until I went to the cashier with an RID toy.

Check the ones nearest to your hotel, they aren't exactly flying off shelves. Be sure to check the counter, some stores keep their exclusives there. You would probably need to ask them for help digging from the back room anyways, I don't think I've seen a store put up that many sets on a shelf. Security devices cost $$ I guess.

Do note that in addition to the high price, TRUs here will not entertain exchange/return/refund of Hasbro goods, they explicitly print that on their receipts...

 

Anyone getting Siege on Cybertron box set?

If I am not wrong they are going to release the clones 2-pack (at least in the states) in the near future so it might be more worthwhile just waiting for that.

 

So far, Fastclash (G1 Fastlane) is found in the Chaos on Velocitron, and Pounce is found in the Seige of Cybertron.
Only Wingspan and Cloudraker is confirmed a Wallgreen exclusive 2-pack.

Our only hope is for Takaratomy to do a proper 2-pack Autobot and Deception clone set, seeing how Wallgreen Brainstorm was available via Takaratomy's Legends line.

Something interesting: Miniso at great world city sells oversized legends class Powerglide, Hotrod, and Optimus for $4.90.

 

Cheapo KO, the joints are super loose, not even worth theat price tag (IMO)
