Plenty of preorders up for Breakdown but has anyone got them up for Wildrider?

 

Well... Their components are MP scale and have G1 aesthetics ... Ragnaros doesn't use add-on parts like Constructor or Armageddon, so you end up with a 45 cm tall combiner (top of the head)

 

that darker grey is much better and wow does it tidy up nice in bot mode

 

as far as i am concerned yes its the first true mp combiner ... for some mp means how tall the robots are but thats not masterpiece , for me its how well they capture the cartoon and toy in all modes as well sizing up to the official mp's and no other combiner has done this in all modes and because of this don't desearve the title mp ...constructor does it in combined mode but the rest of the modes are nothing but oversized chug pieces , the rest of the combiners are nothing but oversized chug pieces in all modes

 

Holy @$#%!!! Man this is looking really good!!!! He might just now be my favorite. Please darken the grey on him. Chest is fine. The the other grey in car mode is to light. Looking very good Xtb.

Man I'm gonna go ape shit and commit suicide if the Qc and plastic is cheap. Xtb please get this combiner right.

They'll all look good together when you account for shoulder pads and back cannon. Devy also has one more member so him being marginally bigger isn't unrealistic.

 

I don't know that anyone is railing. and by hip I mean his waist cannot turn. please be respectful of others' opinions. mine simply happens to be that this is probably not for me.

 

A waist swivel would be nice, I would think it's needed for combined mode arm rotation but I'm sure they considered that.

The gunmetal grey with red look s badass. The first pics looked blue. I hope they keep the colors in line with 598 as that is what I'm buying off of.

I can't say this is a set I'd see myself buying (nothing against it so far, I'm just not a huge G1 MP guy) but I will say that for what these are going for, namely a super high level of cartoon accuracy, they're pretty much dead-on. Also, I can't stress enough just how glad I am that competition among 3Ps has driven prices down so dramatically over the past year and a half or so. As long as the quality isn't compromised, this is a trend I'd love to see continue for pretty obvious reasons.

 

The alt modes look really good but the bot modes are animation to a fault and LOOK really BAD. If these are meant to be MP they are way to barren even compared to Takara's aesthetic shift. These need about a 10 to 20 % detail pass before they even begin to match. Just too blocky and plain and 80's.

This set is a dream come true for me. I've been wanting cartoon accurate Stunticons since I was a kid. Please do a good job with these figures X-Transbots.

 

I will say... I'm not a huge fan of CGI models as evidence of much. I'm swaying my opinion towards a changed and reformed XTB, but their tendency to show only CGI models right up to practically the point of release is frustrating. And the fact that so many are arguing and picking/pecking at colors and such on this CGI model is odd. I respect it, but I still find it odd. Until this is translated to something more approximating 4-dimensional reality I'll reserve any and all opinion and critique.

 

I'll nip this in the bud right now before hearsay becomes 'fact'. It 100% has waist rotation, that's not opinion, that's from talking with the designer.

 

I love the red on the side of the legs. I wasn't expecting that added detail. Look good.
