    The DX9 runs 50ish and most of MFT's have been significantly cheaper. I would double dip if this runs half the price.

    Is Legends becoming the next "thing"? for 3P? I never liked the face of DX9's Mightron. This looks better.

    One area that 3P absolutely embarrasses HasTak in is the Legends scale, hands down. The only must have Legends scale figure HasTak has done is the little Combiner Wars Shockwave. But that's just me.

    I wish MechFansToys would at the very least include the height, since let's face it, we all really wanna know how big each of their releases is relative to the design they copied as a starting point.

    I know a comparison photo is a bridge too far.

    EDIT:
    Uh, nevermind. 12.3 cm; WiP Mightron is 10 cm. Got it.

    ...that'll do.

    New head looks great. I'm interested to see what the paint ends up being like. I was disappointed to see MFT drop the silver and gold paint on their dinos.

    I wouldn't mind grey it is just when ever something is bare grey plastic it ends up looking cheap, MP megs got around it by painting it grey. I wouldnt mind that solution on this.

    They did? That's really disappointing since I hate the yellow of dx9's releases and thought the gold on mft's was really nice looking. Maybe I don't really need the Dinobots.
    A few weeks ago this would've been a definite buy for me but now I'm interested to see what ms-toys can do if they do a Megatron.

    Yeah, I'm bummed too. Not sure why the change was made; just saw the pics on daimchoc's facebook. In addition to just preferring the silver/gold combo, the bare plastic does look cheap (a al Cha Chi's comment). Even worse on Sludge but I couldn't find the pic for some reason. Regret the loss of the smoked translucent bits on the shoulders/hips as well.

    Ah i remember now, it was mentioned in one of the threads they might do different version. So fear not the silver and gold is still a thing. I think.
