Just dab some krazyglue on the ball joint, work the leg (or wing) around a bunch to let the glue polymerize into a new layer of plastic, and it tightens up just fine. Did the same thing with Skullsmasher (Mr. Floppylegs himself). Works like a charm as long as you don't stop moving the joint during the drying phase.
I'd advise against super glue as it can actually eat away at some plastic. Go the floor polish route.
Anyways, this is exactly how I want to paint this bad boy up, make him look like he walked out of Dark Souls. Now if only I had the skills

Beautiful! The paintwork is relatively understated (I.e. not a lot of busy colors) and it really works for the figure.
I've been tightening Transformers joints for years with super glue, and haven't encountered that at all. I got one of the floppy-knee'd Leader Sixshots and fixed that whole mess with liberal applications of the ol' KraGle.
Yeah, I use a hot glue gun. As long as you don't get too crazy with it (a thin layer should do) it works fine. I've tried the Future option for tightening joints but it never works out for me. Or if it does, it eventually fades, requiring me to do it again. With glue, that layer stays and keeps it the way you mean it. On topic: This is a killer paint job! Niiiiiice.
So for the "texturized" parts did you use the cast iron technique with super glue? I think that is the route l will be taking. Also at the risk of sounding unappreciative of your great work, for my eye he seems a tad too monochromatic. I can see the shading but for me it's a bit on the subtle side. I know that was your intent and my phone screen may not be the best for viewing. Clearly there is some awesome stuff going on there
