True Savage at it again with being a true savage

Has the company TIM previously established itself with any known figures, just to get a sense of their quality, or is this (TLK Hound new figure/upgrade) their first product to market?

I am slowly led to believe that perhaps the pandering in Age of Extinction to the Chinese audience was not such a bad thing after all. Perhaps it has helped significantly with widening the horizons and potentials of 3rd party Transformers

He is one that I'd love to see redone. Get rid of that combining garbage.

 

That looks like a custom one-time figure more than anything unfortunately. TF1 Leader Megatron's the base figure. Too much seems chopped to even have it be transformable or fully manufactured.

 

And that ridiculous battery pack.

 

Hmmm... you might be right. That would be a shame, this design needs a better toy.

 

I would love to see a TLK Hot Rod retool from Unique Toys' Lockdown. TLK Barricade is another figure I'd like to see a 3P company take on, as well as Stinger.

 

Unique Toys Lockdown doesn't have the car front on his chest. If a 3rd party were to do a Hot Rod, the car chest would be essential I think.

 

Curious to see if this transforms, whoever wich is called the company or designer, has some interestings concepts, their version of overload is impressive.

once again, to keep the list clean of products that may be bogus/customs(like that megatron up there), I'm only adding anything to the list if it has a preorder go up at online retailers or if the company itself announces they're working on product xyz.

That Megatron looks like a custom with shapeways bits added in. He's not making the list.

 

Perhaps, though I think it could also be possible to fake that with a chest that looks like it's formed by a car but isn't. Other figures have done that before and, if done right, I think it could turn out well. Of course, a new mold would be great as well.

 

The thing is, Hot Rod's chest would not be difficult at all to do if they made a new mold. Its literally just the car front with the middle taken out. If they wanted to make it even better, they could have the chest collapse similar to how Maketoys Downbeat's chest collapses to make it look smaller. I think a new mold is the best bet all around.

 

Oh yeah, a new mold would most definitely be best. I was mostly expressing how, I'd they were to make it a retool if that makes it simpler, I'd be fine with that also. Long story short, I just want a Hot Rod that looks good. The official retool isn't half bad, but again I think the legs look out of proportion and would like another option.

The TLK optimus ended up being from Alien Attack and not from Dream Factory.

 

I was just showing that it existed. Not to add it to the list.
