I don't think he's dead. I think the character sincerely wanted to be away from all the stuff after Chicago and he was set up in a sort of witness protection agency sort of thing. I kind of felt like the physicist character in this latest movie kind of had his cameo spot. Sam wouldn't have been talking about science like that (unless it was some absorbed transformer insight) but something about the guy made me feel like it was a cameo role that Shia didn't take.
I don't really care for Sam. He was only funny in TF1. His parents were even more annoying. I prefer Cade Yeager. Too bad TLK was Wahlbergs last TF movie. Hopefully he changes his mind, like Bay has done twice. It however was a nice touch that we saw his picture in the Witwiccan family tree, because like it or not, he's still part of the movie's universe.
Indeed they do not, but even in non-warfare related scenes he's an annoying twat that we really shouldn't have had to spend time with.
Count me among those people that don't think he's dead. But keep in mind, I could barely follow what the hell was going on during the movie.
I can handle opinions fine, sunflower. What gives me a migraine is people pointing out the bleeding obvious as if it were a rebuttle.
Sounds like you can't handle other peoples' opinions but don't worry, just don't backwards from ten and you'll survive, champ.
