Well, in that broad a "sense", ALL Transformers are limited, since they don't make an infinite number of any of them, because there are certainly a comparably great deal more of whatever product is made for an exclusive store release than for a strictly limited release (ie. for SDCC, NYCC, or Botcon, as in the original example used).

Back to the original point though, I find it difficult to believe that Hasbro's production schedule is so rigid and fragile that they don't have room to revisit manufacturing on a product just because they didn't plan for it a year, or so, ago. We see Takara revisit certain high demand Transformers regularly (as in many figures from the Masterpiece line, Henkei Hot Rod, etc) and their manufacturing process is arguably more complicated than Hasbro's because of the more detailed paint applications and whatnot. So, there's no reason to think that Hasbro wouldn't have the capability to revisit these sets if it was going to behoove them financially to do so. At $99 a piece domestically, with a comparably miniscule production cost and a sold out first run, it wouldn't really be surprising if this happened, would it?

Extra production runs happen, sure. That's hardly an argument to suggest they're to be expected for a specific item.

I'm not saying it's to be expected, though. I'm just saying it's not an impossibility.

Fine. But "not impossible" isn't really a standard to build arguments on, IMHO. What stad and others are saying reflect the normal pattern of things, as demonstrated through long years of watching how these toys are sold.

There's very little precedent of exclusive Transformers sets selling out at the retailers Hasbro does business with to use to establish a normal pattern. This is different than discussing the manufacturing practices of the regular toys. I can remember back to when Toys "R" Us was selling the original Encore figures and I don't recall a situation similar to this.

And your opinion is noted, but I've done more to back up my position on this than simply saying "anything's possible". I don't think my point is invalid.

It was likely sold from Toys R Us through Amazon then as they seem to be doing business with each other again. As such I doubt there will be any more online.

You know what chaps me about this set ? How Hasbro didn't even bother naming the TR figures other than Hot Rod/Rodimus.

    That's lazy, IMO.

Honestly I forget the names half the time, but I totally get the complaint, I used to love to read all the bios and obscure facts that were toy only for when I played pretend.

Got one of the ones that went up on the 28th, still hasn't shipped. Wondering if I should contact Amazon and ask about it.

You can either call them, or just log in to your account and check your order status.

I ordered one around that time and have already received it. Although, they did originally give me a shipping date of July 8th.

It's disheartening that these Titans Returns boxed sets are proving to be so hard for folks to get at original MSRP. Sure, there's the scalper market, or buying ala cart 1 piece of the set at a time, but shouldn't have to be that way. Especially on the Siege set which has even been "officially" released in all parts of the World. Hopefully Hasbro sees demand, and will contiue to open up avenues to get these sets into.
