On the bright side, we're closer than we were last year. Here's to hoping! We need the Cons desperately though

you certainly don't Shia-way from declaring your preferences

Really relieved that MPM-4 Prime slowly looks to be improving in the vehicle department. Good news too, because even if it were fully defective, I'd invest in it like the chump I am. Man, I thought stuff like Prime Studios 1 was where my hobby preferences would shift. OH HOW WRONG I WAS

The first photo is the chest part that is housing the matrix. If you keep it down, it will block the head when you lower down. And subsequently the chain effect of windscreen, bonnet etc cant clip properly.

If you open up that chest housing matrix portion, the head can lower down properly. Everything later on will be clip in easily.

Despite the QC issues (which I hope get fixed before September), the MPM is objectively more accurate in robot mode. As much as I love my ROTF mold, it is not as close to the CGI model anymore. So I'll still buy MPM Prime for sure, at least to support the line so Takara makes more of them. But not only that, it definitely seems like an improvement accuracy-wise and articulation-wise

Thank you for the help! (^.^) However... It's in the instructions and it would be impossible to form the sleeper cabin without first moving the Matrix compartment as the head would have no where to go.

The part that refuses to peg in is technically not the hood pieces, but the windscreen/chest section. Yours can't seem to peg in either...

Whelp at least we know the hood can peg together, so the main issues are now the windshield

Yup, mine can achieve roughly that as well. I'm hoping someone can figure out a way to get:

Only Type-R's image has come close to making the windshield wipers not look like they're floating

Indeed. Though, as I've managed to discover after a ton of trial and error, it's 99.9% a mold defect/oversight. Unless proven otherwise, I do believe that even the one posted by Type-R is barely holding in place or has been modified in some way.

Regardless, I do hope they will fix this for the Japanese release. The fact that we've heard nothing about it from Takara's side makes me suspicious that they could be still working on it. (Or they could just be saving the reveal for WonFes. Who knows.)

There won't be japanese version.. this version is common for both Hasbro and takara. That's why u have both logos on the box.

Also to me slight gap on that windscreen is not a big deal to me.. what do u expect? Water tight kind of fit? to me as long as everything can secure properly I am ok...

It's probably that we could see prime in the takara shelves.

Anyway, Takara still hasn't announced the MPM Prime.

This helps the theory that Hasbro Asia released so early the MPM Prime like a test.

    Why tho.
