You know it would be a cool surprise if Hascon did a Diaclone themed set as a way to honor their brand's origin like a Powered Convoy repaint of CW Ultra Magnus.Dia Battles AKA Stormbringer from Dreamwave from TR Sky Shadow, etc or make TF movie repaints out of non TF movie molds to celebrate the movie franchise's 10th anniversary.

I only say fearing because I'm tired of camping out on HTS for exclusives. Granted demand has lightened up a lot over the last few years but still.

I'd say we're probably looking at a movie figure, with a "special" paint job and/or packaging. Along the same lines of whatever we get with SDCC, if not the actual same thing.

Hey, I think it's hilarious that Hasbro thinks that because we love one of their franchises that we want to come worship them as a corporation.

What the fuck are you talking about? The build quality on The Last Knight toys far surpasses anything mainline we've had in years! They DO use hard strong plastic Titans Return is the one using shitty plastic and shitty build quality. I still like Titans Return because of the sculpts and characters, but
you can't ignore the bad quality. Something that The Last Knight does NOT have. So idk it's sounds more like your just assuming things.

Yep the costs is what I see too - prices for attendees and prices for vendors and no "hobbyist vendor" booth price range.

Anyone think there's a chance they'll add "hobbyist vendor" booth options before Sept?

I'm not sure I'd say Dallas was terrible. It has huge shopping malls, a franchise in every major sport, six flags, etc. I didn't attend the Cincinnati or Louisville ones so I can't comment on those but I personally think you could always do a lot worse than Dallas.

Pretty much this. I think for something like general admission the first year of a convention which is a bit of an unknown should never exceed $20-$30. A person can easily justify $20 for something to check it out but $60 is a lot harder to swallow. And ponying up $600 for a goodie bag and an exclusive with no details is a hard sell for all the but most people in general.

Hasbro couldnt handle the Hasbro Pulse correctly. I can't imagine them managing something larger scale very well on that basis.

I.e both lines are hit and miss with QC. Think TLK has worse plastic but Voyager Megs is still a solid toy.

It's not about worshipping Hasbro. It's about giving fans of the various brands something.

MLP, GI Joe, Nerf, Transformers.... And having it all under one roof means they can change up which brand gets focus/emphasis as needed each year.

Like we'd probably never get a MASK convention. But at Hascon they could have a little section in the corner where fans could high five each other and reminisce.

In trying to please everyone, they'll please no one.

This just sounds like the saddest little gathering....
