I like this. I really wished that the movie followed the books ending.

So the whole Knight thing is a tradition and a big part of cybertronian culture. In cybertronian Prime is another word for legendary knight. Sentinel, Zeta, Optimus are all from the lineage of these legendary knights of cybertron. Other knights include Megatron, Starscream, and the Dinobots.

Thanks! :)  Ya it really peeved me off that the movie ended with Optimus going all axe-crazy (literally!) and decapitsting Megatron when he was offering a truce.

I think that's part of the reason why Movie Prime is often seen as bloodthirsty. That and "give me your face."

And they had a chance to give him some character development, but status quo is Primus so Optimus was kept a violent killer. :(

I think a part of that is that's what the casual movie goer knows Prime as.

    I think that's a darn shame. :(

Headcanon: Brawn survived his harrowing brush with shoulder-induced dead and became a Decepticon prisoner during the Battle of Autobot City.

In my canon, Punch and Counterpunch are two personalities in the same Spark. One chose Autobot, the other Decepticon. Neither one is aware of the other.

I like this. Interesting story possibilities here, so, how do the personalities take over one another?

I haven't figured that out, but each thinks that they are suffering blackouts when the other personality is active. I'm thinking something similar to Ben/Glory in season 5 of Buffy.

In my headcanon, Tracks doesn't talk with Locust Valley Lockjaw like a robotic Thurston Howell III.
Also, in my headcanon, he has a faceplate (like his toy).

    A few IDWverse headcanons:

    - Spinning off from his brief appearance in exRID #34 (I think?) and his depiction as a highly intelligent born leader in other fiction, Rhinox was an important founding father of post-Thirteen Cybertronian society, but was airbrushed from history due to Nova Prime and Galvatron's hatred of beasts.

    - Clampdown (that police car Red Alert redeco? not sure how well known this guy is) was a cop in the Senate days, and enjoyed the Clampdown so much that he renamed himself after it. During the war, his aptitude for, and enjoyment of, killing Decepticons landed him a spot with the Wreckers. Soon after that, he got locked in a room with a group of angry 'Cons, and Whirl. He didn't survive. Make of that what you will.

    - Scorponok and Abraham Dante are either a major part of that mysterious organisation from MTMTE/LL, or more of their victims a la Grimlock.

Not sure if any of this has been said before, but if it has, I'm saying it again.

Junkion is a fully-fledged planet instead of a satellite of junk, and a forgotten colony world at that, and life is essentially Mad Max: Fury Road.

This is my headcanon: In the G1 cartoon, the 1986 minibots have pretty infantile personalities: Swerve is a bad driver, Tailgate can't tell the difference between sentient machines, Outback loves to break rules and Pipes is easily impressed. The reason for these personalities, is because they were created in 2006 after Autobot City was attacked. Because they have been online for such a short time, they act like young children at times.

To build upon my previous headcanon that Quintus Prime created the Quintessons, the name Quintesson is actually derived from Quintus' Sons.

So wait I can't post movie Headcannon in here anymore? That blows. I don't want to post in the movie forum.

Yeah, in a thread like this, making the "G1-Animated plus Rescue Bots ONLY" distinction seems really pointless.

Yeah. What would happen if I wanted some UT or Prime?

Yeah but my point is that I don't know if a headcannon thread in the Movie forum is an okay idea. It would just be "How dare you pervert Bay's artistic perfection!" or "Better then Bay's trash!"

Whatever though. I'll just post my ideas here anywho.

Since the Headmasters joined the battle on Earth, Perceptor entertained the idea of being able to swap between a smaller and a larger body for himself and built himself a small "avatar," which he has named "Convex." He can activate stasis lock when he switches to this avatar and uses his real body as a mobile base which transmits signals from his core conciousness to this avatar, allowing him to move about as though he had never left his own body.

Targetmasters work like the Weaponizer Mini-Cons in RID1X - they can take away the motor functions from any bot who is holding them so they can temporarily use a larger body, and assist in aiming when being wielded by their binary-bonded partner.
