Yeah there wasn't a lot of music that was noticeable with everything going on. This piece I specifically remember when Merlin is getting the staff because it required a musical moment.
His score was so washed out. I'm sure it's good, but I have to listen to the score by itself to get a good feel for it. I'm happy he brought some pieces from TF1 back.

I was so disappointed in the score along with everything else. Even DOTM was a hard act to follow, but even AOE had Lockdown's theme, dinobot charge, and Honor till the End, which brought goosebumps.
Truly epic and inspired, as all his TF scores have been. What do we have to do to get a complete vinyl set of all 5 movies?
Did anyone else notice how they recycled "transformium" from AOE? You can hear it in the scene where cogman is explaining stuff to Cade when he is on the ground and breaks Crosshairs finger.
You're not the only one, and I'm not being facetious either. It just seemed drowned out by everything else. DOTM is the one that really had a chugging quality to it that I liked.
Hm. Merlin's Staff is OK, but a bit repetitive and restrained, like most of AOE. I hope this score ends up having a few more standout pieces than AOE's did.
