I admit, I thought the Optimus line was really cool.

Granted, I was practically brain-dead from the preceding two hours of nonsense, but still.

 

I really really didn't like that line.

 

Fucking a huge let down. To much fucking humans

 

I think they would have been better off without dragonstorm/knights in the final act. Could have gave that screentime to grimlock, drift, crosshairs, and hound for the last act in all honesty.

 

It was only slightly better than ROTF's final battle.

 

Too much dust, couldn't see shit. Drift, Crosshairs, and the Dinobots being absent sucked.

At least Megs and Barricade survived.

 

It was awesome, but I really wished we got more one on one stuff rather than a huge battle scene.

 

Nah. ROTF was 20x better then this shit. At least it was cool seeing Optimus rip the fallen face off.

Megatrons browlnwith the autobots was super cool. LOVED hotrods time stop during that part

Infernus did get to do some thing as he took out hot rod and bumblebee

And the way optimus killed him was cool

Agreed. There was no big wow moment either imo. I mean Optimus getting his upgrade from Jetfire still gets me pumped up for the finale, but nothing really did anything for me in TLK's final battle.

 

How was the Megatron vs. The Autobots fight? What happened and how long was it?

 

What bugs me is that in the 07 movie Megatron comfortavke took on all the Autobots and then overpowered Optimus himself, being defeated only by the Allspark being shoved into his chest. Since then Megatron's consistently had his ass kicked in every fight he's been in... even as Galvatron Optimus managed to get the upperhand before being shot by Lockdown.

I suppose in this one he was doing alright against the other bots but Optimus still made short work of him after entering the fray. I suppose it's indicative of a problem the movue series has as a while wherein Bumblebee and Optimus never are shown to lose a fight.

 

Agreed. Him slicing that combiners head off was cool. But it would have been WAY cooler if the dinobots were there. I mean each movie has a few memorable moments in them in the final battle

I will agree with you that it was intense. But I just didn't care about anything that was happening onscreen. I didn't care about them saving Earth (again), I didn't care about any of the characters like I did with previous final battles. I mean in AOE I felt a little worried for Hound and thought he was going to die. Here, if anyone died, I wouldn't care. Even when Optimus was getting the beat down on him by the knights, I didn't care and usually I would. There's just not much to care for by the time the final battle comes around if you ask me.

 

Mostly humans doing all the work like all the other movies. There's less bot screen time in this final battle

 

How the final battle should have been
1. Make dragonstorm way bigger and have that dragon and the dinobots fighting him in a epic battle.
2. Bee and barricade battle each other
3. Drift crosshairs and hot rod fight the remaining cons
4. Hound vs megatron (prime comes and saves him)
5. Optimus vs megatron
6. Optimus vs quintessa ending with Optimus ripping her damn head off.

 

This. It was visually spectacular. The scope of the last act was breath taking. But like u said nobody was really in danger robot wise and ur right I didn't find myself caring about what actually was going on.

 

Incorrect.

Megatron is dead - as per the wikipedia citing the movie, multiple sources who have seen it in Imax and additional sources claiming to have seen it on other TF sites.

 

Uhh have you actually SEEN the movie? Megatron is alive, per your own eyes if you see it.
