They say he is, but the scenes where he showed it off were cut. Probably for being superfluous like the dinobots in AOE

Maybe it was deemed too violent? Even though we've seen a lot of violent stuff happen in these movies already?
Oh, heck, it would be just our luck if they cut it out so they could have more room for Unnecessary Romanceā„¢ or something.

17% now. Not surprised that it's getting destroyed. It sucks that it is though.

I dont know why, but i feel a lot of the movie was cut from the final film due to time restraints or something. I remember hearing a while ago about a supposed prison break, and a scene where Isabela was going to give a transformer energon, and the editing in some parts just doesnt feel right. Even certain things were really oddly just forgotten or left unadressed, like what happened to strafe and scorn and what happened to grimlock and slug at the end of the film. Was this movie supposed to be longer/ two movies?. If it were one of these, it proboably could've easily been the best transformers movie.

I want to see reviews from us fans who care about the franchise the critics have hated these movies from the beginning and if we think they are going to love the solo Bumblebee movie then you crazy

Just for your info., my preference of TF movies is: TF (the first one), DOTM, AOE, ROTF and TLK. By some fluke the first movie was really good (IMO). I think this reflects the change in the filmmakers attitudes from the first one to the rest of the films.

I remember when the first one came out, Bay was open to listening to the fans of the cartoons. (e.g. getting Cullen in, saying that he didn't have a way to explain mass shifting in Transformers so he left it out until he could come up with a good explanation). Then the first one was a huge financial success. And, in my opinion, that gave him the "mandate" to do whatever he wanted without listening to fans anymore. Sure, the following movies were hugely successful in terms of returns, but the reviews got progessively more terribly. And he has openly admitted he doesn't care about stuff like that.

The movies now are more into showing off military hardware (maybe because it's backed by the military) than developing good and bad alien characters. Someone needs to tell the filmmakers that CGI/non-human characters DO work (Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, etc.) and audiences will still see the film. We also don't need these ridiculously convoluted plots - even the filmmakers forget the plot halfway thru the movie (that's exactly how it feels with the current movie).

I like Transformers: I have the original cartoons, the unicron trilogy, all the "new" movies, and some of the toys, however I am not "obsessed" and I can't just blindly endorse something because it has the TF logo on it. This new movie is, honestly, not very good. Objectively, in terms of good filmmaking, it is simply just not good. Subjectively, I tolerate it because I like the Transformers Universe and I want it to continue on in some form...however, the fans AND the wider audience deserves better than this...

Lol 12%. I think critics just love to hate these films. If anyone of them actually gave it praise they may risk there reputation in the critics circle. We know it's not the next citizen cane but it has to at least score some points for visuals and sound design. Jesus.

    Like a walking stick?

Maybe it does, just not enough to make critics like it overall.

Remember, the rating on RT is how many critics gave it a positive review, not their average scores.

Honestly guys, I'm glad this film and other TF films are getting hate. They deserve it. Paramount needs to see it and realize that they should actually put some care into this franchise. Either start by obviously making the next TF films good, or just reboot the damn thing completely. I seriously hope TLK gets the lowest RT score possible so the studio execs can truly see how much people hate/dislike these films.

The only problem with that is you have the Fantastic Four all over again where they give it to someone who doesn't have a history of good films and low budget because the other movies sucked.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, JJ Abrams! He made Two pretty decent Star Wars movies before he made the force awakens, and that one was pretty good too. Just sayin, his stuff makes money, and the critics seem to like it.

Honestly I feel like we're in that rut right now with how bastardized the actual franchise content is in these films.
