Yeah, i meant the next day xD, sorry.

We can see them in ANY moment.

There was never rumour about blaster, just a "MP15X", wich sound more like a re-edition of the casettes.

But again, everybody can be wrong, and maybe there's not a new mp reveal.

I thought it was pictures of Blaster he had and he was just waiting for Takara to announce him? If it doesn't happen it doesn't happen but it's along way to December. I hate when this board goes:tumbleweed:

Nah, he claimed to have pictures of MP -15X which somehow hints at Blaster.

I hope those preorders for Dinobot come soon. And I do hope the MP after Dinobot will be revealed soon too. If it's not Jazz, then I've got other stuff to use my piggy bank for.

They got me on the first ... I'll give em that ... but aside from my obligatory Optimus obsession I will rejoice when the MPM phenomena has passed ...

I kinda liked the first one...and have to admit it brought me back to TFs. Alternators and MPs would have just as likely sucked me back in, but I knew nothing of them until after the movie crap. I was amazed by how complex the figures had become. I bought one of the movie Primes for shits and was blown away by the complexity as G1 was my last experience with the figures so I started buying more movie toys. Then when I came to find there were G1 figures with that kind of complexity, too, it was pretty much over. It was on like Voltron!

If you guys are talking about figure king, which usually has the scoops, it isn't out until the 23rd. Pictures usually show up a few days before so if there's anything of interest I assume we'd know about it by Thursday.

I kinda liked the first one too. The whole story about a boy and his first car which turns out to be an alien robot... The car chooses the driver thing... That got me. The movie did many right things but also so many wrong things like killing of Jazz, Sector 7, a comedy cast...

All followups where just so bad and rushed... Age of Extinction brought me back because of Primes G1 Form... But everything else was just so poor.

The first one I actually saw in the theatre, and my big issue - besides not being into the robot design - with it was the smash cuts because I couldn't actually see what was happening. The way Bay cuts his movies, I felt like I barely saw any Transformers action. They were doing all this cool robot fighting, but it was just a blur of quick cuts :(

I'll give the designs for the new one some points though, both Optimus and Megatron look way, way more fully realized with the medevil armour motif than in previous films. That armour can be a part of their character and how it's presented, and their bodies having more large individual areas make their look much more pleasing to the eye.

It was something that I think only Baybee pulled off really well before. That MPM looks good in pictures as a static toy. He doesn't have to be in motion to look amazing, and the Bay version of 'bee is a total action hero character.

After filling out my TTMall survey guess it's safe to say they don't consider the MPM part of the main masterpiece line. They ask you to check off all the MPs you have including your preorders and there is no mention of the MPM. I wonder if they will publish the results. it would be interesting to see if people in Japan thought the line was a slow as we do.

I saw the first one in theaters... and regretted it.

There's so many things Bay does horribly as a director. GR, like you mentioned, the cuttiness of his action combined with aggressive camera moves made everything an incomprehensible blur. The the ridiculous way he lights everything, the cheesy camera moves on every shot—the guy seriously has no business directing anything outside of a 90's glam rock video.

Also, the character development was terrible. Giving the robots overly humanistic features/personalities made no sense (Hound is a smoker?!). But the thing that bothered me most, was that they portrayed the Autobots as basically helpless weaklings unable to defend themselves against the Decepticons. I mean, why are they even in the film? But, praise Jesus, none of those Transformers are any match for the mighty US military!! So nice of them to bail those weak ass Autobots out. USA! USA! The whole film played like a recruitment video for the US Armed Services, which quite frankly sickened me.

I don't like to say disparaging things, but Bay's work is absolute trash and I resent him for sullying such an amazing franchise. It would be really hard to make me NOT interested in a Transformers live action movie... but he does it time and time again.

On the plus side, hearing that he might step away from the franchise gives me hope that MAYBE we'll get a TF movie actually worth watching.

It may just be that because it's a joint venture right from the design stage, they can't really claim ownership of it in the same manner, or even that Hasbro actually owns it and basically rented the TT designers in exchange for Asia distribution rights.

    There's a TTMall survery? Link?

Thinking back to the release of Sideswipe +, I'm thinking it's more and more likely that Wheeljack + will not only come with a nice coat of paint all over, but (as has already been suggestion) he might also come with an Immobliser and Hypno-Chip Disruptor in more cartoon-tone colours.

What other workshop-esque tools might future MPs come with? I'm thinking of Perceptor and Hoist - did they use anything memorable in the cartoon?

Perceptor had a test tube with the formula to combat cosmic rust.

Good call! I think Perceptor would come with a couple faces, his gun, maybe that test tube... other possibilities include stuff that could be placed on his microscope tray, like microchips from Microbots and a morphobot from Quest for Survival. Maybe even a tiny Bumblebee, Brawn, and Perceptor from Microbots!

Maybe but they didnt mention the Takara exclusive movie MPs in the MPs you own section and they don't mention the movies in the what Transformers you watch section. They had a Transformers movie but I took that to be the original 86 one. Who knows I was doing it from my phone so I may have missed something or something got misunderstood in translation but I don't recall seeing any thing about the live action movies. Maybe I missed something, I did start skimming over stuff when I got to BW:lol

Perceptor should release with Brawn, talk about a bromance. I watched that episode the other day and Brawn is a d!ck, a funny one but still one none the less.
