I don't know if this is unpopular with anyone above six, but I really do not see the appeal of Scooby Doo.

 

^ At least they are actually getting the (pretty well deserved) spotlight within our lifetimes. I would consider it as a better late than never sort of deal.

Anyway, Star Wars: The Force Awakens is an over-glorified fan-fic that practically pisses all over the legacy and the characters of Luke, Han and Leia and in general, not a really good movie.

Summer sucks. When you're in school, it just means vacation, but when you're an adult, it's just annoying hot weather.

 

Yeah, don't really care who else likes something that I like. I just want to like it.

Also agree about TFA.

Hot weather does suck. Not a summer fan either. Loved it when I was young though.

 

Try living in Florida your entire life. Between the heat and the thunderstorms, you will end up hating Summer. Fall and Winter are the best time to live here.

 

I did for several years. I was just a Yankee though trying to make it down there and I honestly don't know how people deliberately stay there. That summertime humidity is so brutal. Happy to not be there right now.

 

I've gotten more used to the heat as I've grown older, but I still hate summer here.

 

-I don't see the big deal with Undertale or Five Nights at Freddy's.

 

I find that there's no excuse to tolerate any rude, annoying, over-obsessive and immature behavior in any fandom. People offen claim something like "EXO has no control over their fandom" or "the fans are still young", and I would still say the same thing. An awful fandom brings more disadvantages than advantages in a lot of cases and sometimes can even entirely destroys the reputation of things like anime, franchise, or band. Plus a good fandom is possible with suitable moderation and strict rules. If a fan behaves badly towards the other fanbases, just kick him/her out of the fandom.

 

Thats not really how fandoms work...
Plus, the internet is a huge vast place. There a fans of everthing everywhere. You could ban me from the forum and I'd just go find another site out there and particpate in it.

I do agree that shitty behavior makes a fandom less bearable and more of a hostile place, but most of the time that actually isn't the entirety of the fandom at large. Most of the time the loudest voices are the most negative, unfortunetly. Also I have to stick up for anime fans. Yeah there are some sour fucks out there, but the same logic applies there, there are just some bad apples. Stereotypes are born from someone only noticing the negative side of something, and claiming it encompasses the entirety of people within it, which is both untrue, unjust, and unfair. How would you feel if everyone looked at you like a weirdo because of some other people out there?
It isn't fun. Take the time to educate yourself about something before passing any sort of judgement.(spoiler alert very few memebers of humanity fucking do this.)

I do agree that assholes suck and I don't want to put up with them, but you can't kick them of out a fandom, only a place. Besides, most of the time that assholery is born from entitlement. Theres no way you can become entitle by just being s Transformers fan, so they had to be an asshole to begin with.

 

I agree with everything you say, despite my opinion still stands. Stereotyping is never a good thing and I'm sorry if my statement been a little bit on the offensive side. I still think that fans should be civil with each other.

Hmm. So far not a fan of Linkin Park's new album... though I've admittedly only heard two songs from it as of yet. But if modern pop/top twenty is what they're going for this time around than this probably isn't for me.

 

Dragonball Z is a mediocre anime at best and the lore is all over the place.
