    I don't know if the set was being sold through Amazon at the time of the OP's post, but now the only listings for it are two third-party sellers with a $300 price tag for each.

    Btw, I'm probably selling my unopened set. Not sure for how much though. Definitely not $300. Maybe a Sovereign trade...

    Yep it was deff through amazon, I bought one. :D 

    On the bright side... this might mean it could pop up through other retailers like the CW sets... or maybe they pulled the listing due to technical reasons.

    That's definitely an official listing, it contains stock photos of Quickswitch's beast mode and both Quickswitch and Laser Prime's jet modes which were never on TRU's website. Huh.

    The difference being that neither of the sets that have been released were billed as a limited run item, so there was no indication that they might be difficult to obtain, whereas that sort of thing is clearly indicated with convention exclusives and therefore to be expected.
