As someone who likes this toy before even having it in hand I can't articulate how much rage I feel that your opinion differs from mine. ;)

    Anyways, bring on Ratchet!
    And then maybe Blaster?

Man, soon people will complain that removable weapons = parts-forming.

    Looks great!

    10.5cm = ~ 4 1/8"

Bit on the large side, will have to go home and see if I can make it work.

I'll be in for 2 if the price remains the same. Looks like just the right amount of parts forming.

You can't have a separate sled and bot without partsforming...unless you go the TT MP Ironhide route and just have the sled as a separate accessory (or have bot permanently attached to sled in some way which means bot is aways standing on sled). In this size, I rather have the sled incorporated in to the van mode than have it set to the side or left in the box (because clearly they are not going full toon accurate). Its similar to having the weapons be stored somewhere in alt mode vs setting it to the side.

Edit: I suppose another option would be to have the van roof/sled be able to transform, without needing to detach, and become the backpack. For a $15 (assuming similar price to Soundwave) scout size figure, I'm not going to expect that though.

Their Soundwave has been the closest I've seen a 3P come to retail pricing.
This Ironhide looks more complex then I expected. And he is packing more acessories than I guessed. This is what I wished Action Masters had been like when I was a kid. Small, more articulated, more toon accurate replacements of original toy.

And looking at the pics again he looks like he is armed to the teeth.

Looking good. I'm liking this line so far. Should have my Soundwave soon; it'll be nice to get an Ironhide to go with him.

Looks pretty good, and I detest Ironhide.
I have a DX9(? Small grey fella, came packaged with Scourge) Ratchet so I think I'll get this guy also.

This toy just pushed me over the edge to buy the Soundwave too. I told myself if I can get a crapbot like Ironbutt McUselessface, I should damn well get a Soundwave ahead of him. The decision was helped by a very reasonable price on Soundwave with a Decepticon sticker sheet thrown in.

Not a fan of the arm panels and it will probably be too big for *my* preferred Legends scaling--although he's shorter than their Soundwave, so my fingers are crossed!--but I'll pick this up anyway if the price is in keeping with past releases since I'm an Ironhide fan. Funny how this has a better headsculpt (IMO) than the official masterpiece version! Love the weapons assortment too.

About where I'm coming from. With the exceptions of characters like Ultra Magnus, Overlord and the like, I don't want figures larger than current legends/cyberverse-commander sized. It just throws the whole thing off. Great for those starting from scratch and want that change in scaling. Regardless of good pricing, they just won't fit, and I'm not interested in changing the make-up of what I've collected so far.

As long as the price comparable to their Soundwave I will collect this line. I had wanted to collect those Custom Robot Revoltech figures, missed most of the early releases. These seem like they will work; just not as replacements for my legends figures.

Thanks for Ratchet pictures Daimchoc! He looks good; I like the accessories.

Ehh... I'm really torn on this. I downright loved MechPlanet's Soundwave (aside from the lack of bicep swivels) but this mold being shorter than Soundwave, that bothers me. Partsforming kind of bothers me but not as much as the height.

I guess I just wish it was more deluxe scale. Need something less annoying than CW Ironhide to sit cozy with Generations Chromia (because I doubt she'll ever have another figure ever)
